Enabling the Slow Motion mode and its use.
There is a hidden slow motion cheat mode for the game I found in a previous [now removed] steam guide.

There are two steps in using this cheat:
- Enabling the cheat
- Toggling 'slow motion'

To enable the mode:
At any time during the game type: 'slomo' to enable the cheat.
(A shrieking noice from the protagonist should be heard).
This will simply enable the mode so the game will play exactly the same way.

To 'activate' slow motion mode:
The 'Tab' key behaves as a toggle to enable and disable slow motion.

Public Service Announcement:
Play this game as it was intended, it is a lot of fun and a truly unique and rewarding experience to complete this game without cheats; I have provided this information for those who wish to get something more from the game.
There are other cheats available for this game, but this cheat doesn't directly contradict the gameplay mechanics.

This information was sourced from the Wolfire forums.

@Rex_22_LR, you don't need to bring up a console or dialogue box. Once you are 'in the game' simply type the letters in sequence, as written in 'to enable the mode'.

Ivy, well I'd prefer to put the cheats in in a menu, I don't like to shoot a disabled turret in the armour and then step to the right and then drop a magazine on a floor for invincibility, I prefer to just pause the game and have my character not fumble about for no reason. Also, I suspect that when you activate a cheat, the game spawns MANY more enemies than usual for that life.

@ Eagle, I can't say I've tried typing it at the 'Receiver Splash Screen' but there is no need to 'press esc' to type it in.

Not exactly, you have to press 'esc' first to get to the options then type in 'slomo'. Theres no text box but youll here the scream.

using your keyboard (whilst 'in' the game engine (ie playing the game)) simply type the word 'slomo' and you should hear the activation noise and then, the Tab key to toggle 'slow motion mode' on/off.
It only lasts for that life, so if you die/reset, you'll need to re-initiate it if you wish to keep using it.
