Description
Mod for customizing stack sizes. As well as the ability to target specific items.

Improvements for v1.0
  • Stack changes now do NOT require a game reload, if a stack is modified below a set stack size the stack is split up into smaller stacks. Should still save your game after every stack size adjustment; because if you adjust stacks, dont save, then reload a game, you could lose items.
  • Custom in game menu lets you pick between different modes ( scalar / fixed )
    • scalar: multiplies the base count by the number specified
    • fixed : simply sets the stack size to the number
  • Attempted to make it more clear how to set individual overrides via the Overrides.xml file.

Load Order
  • It hopefully won't matter. The stack modification code attempts to run after initial processing is complete. But if you have problems. Try moving OgreStack to last place.

Updates
  • Jan 6, 2020
    • Allow stacking of items with CompQuality, so long as the original content author wants the item to be stackable (like Wine in Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval)
  • August 20, 2018
    • Changed input boxes to plain text and parse input. Should fix strange '1E-06' type of input errors.
    • Removed all default item overrides except for 2 related to persona cores (this change will only be for new subscribers, or current subscribers who delete their Overrides.xml file)
    • Added various buttons for Presets in the settings window, should make setting stack sizes even faster
    • Altered text in overrides section to indicate that section is only for users comfortable in XML files, and who want to target one off ThingDefs to stack different than the configured settings

hey I just want to let you know it would seem that this mod and allow tools cause an error this happens with the haul urgently feature, it makes a harmless although annoying error. this same comment will be posted on the other mod page just letting you know of the error

@Tinda: stack sizes are changed at launch only. unless you open the ogrestack mod menu then it runs again.

it lets you dynamically change any field in any def in the game. it's amazing.
But I suspect you change to stacksize not at launch, but in runtime somehow,
because when I go to RIMMSQol and load up the page for, say, silver, the vanilla stack size is shown instead of what your mod sets it to (or at least it was back in 1.4)
so when I existed the page, the size reverted for specifcally silver and nothing else, and of course truncated it severely.
I should probably ask this on that note page as well

@Tinda: I'm unsure what your issue might be. I don't know what RIMMSQol is. This mod just changes def stack limits.

@Tadomikari: This mod doesn't impact pathfinding... It doesn't even run after the mod init. And only runs again if you open the mod menu.

I ran this way back, but I had to remove it because whenever I made any alterations with RIMMSQol, not even touching the stack size field, then the stacks would revert to vanilla size and I'd loose so many items.

Is there something to be done about this? Really love this mod and want it in my list :/

@Meq: Not all categories of vanilla are the same value so setting it to fixed wouldn't work or make sense.
