Why 1 Classic

It just feels... right? Doesn't it look like it's probably good?
See below for how I use the Classic, maybe that helps.

How 2 Classic

Hold M1, it charges while holding M1, optionally scope with M2, release M1 to shoot.

Charge shots often and out of sight, don't stay in one place too long.
You are a glass cannon, enemies shouldn't see you without the cannon part.

Never stay scoped.
Only scope when needed and be aware of your surroundings.

Be aggressive.
You don't need to scope, so put yourself in no-scope positions.

Scope when not charging a shot and move around.
It looks funny.

Don't just go for headshots.
You are usually firing fully charged shots, a bodyshot (135 damage) often is lethal damage.

You can't shoot mid-air.

When juggled/airblasted either hold the shot or switch to your SMG.

Oh right, always use the SMG.
In close combat you'll get one Classic shot at most, SMG is the best follow-up.

Or don't, other stuff works too.
I use Darwin's Danger Shield because I'm a baby and it's basically a 4th cosmetic.

Advanced Options > Combat Options > ✔ play a sound when the sniper rifle is fully charged.
Eventually you'll know when you're fully charged, then the sound'll just be satisfying.

Steam > Account > Preferences > filter "bodyshot" and all spelling variations.
Now everyone's just complimenting you and using excessive asterisks.

Wear unusuals.
Give your enemies a chance.

Have fun.
Or you know, take TF2 very seriously and judge anyone that doesn't; if that makes you happy.

I love the classic but i do better with the stock, i do occasionally bring the classic with the cozy camper to deny heavies and pyros

Sometimes limited (Tunnel) vision is biggest problem as Sniper. Because we cannot see anything else exepct in our scope vision. Sometimes your rifle needs a little sleep. Take classic and countinue your sniper career when did you bored to using Classic.
