Introduction
https://store.steampowered.com/app/392110/

Hi veryone,

I wrote this guide inspired by The Milkman "Endless Legend 100% Achivement Guide". Being an Amplitude fan since my first contact with Endless space, I want to give players a similar advice to get their echivements for Endless Space 2.

I'll try to keep an order, but being so much achievements, I'll categorize them into sections, and sometimes the order may not correspond with the order you'll see in steam page. feel free to use ctrl+F to look for what you're interested in.

Have in mind that sometimes there will be methods to get some achievements, that are near cheating and will grant you the achivement, but no fun in playing the game. I'll will advice you in that cases.

Advice also that this guide is meant to be a bit dinamyc, as I'll be making changes with suggestions and own findings, or if I found a better way to explain some achievements.

Abbreviations

I'll be using the following abbreviations:
  • FIDSI: corresponds to main game resources: Food, Industry, Dust, Science and Influence.
  • MP: Manpower.
  • SN: Special Node.
  • Spl and Mpl for single player amb multi player respectively.
  • When speaking of tech placement in tech tree I use E&D, S&E, E&T and M for empire & Development, Science & Exploration, Economy & Trade and Military quadrans respectively. I also use S# to indicate the stage. This way, i.e. E&D S4 means stage 4 of Empire & Development quadrant.
  • HS: Home System.
  • MF for Major faction and mF for minor Faction.
  • pop: population.
    [+]UE: United Empire.
  • HQ: for comercial company HeadQuarters.
  • BW: bandwith (Penumbra DLC)
  • BD: Backdoor (Penumbra DLC)
  • UC: Umbral Choir (Penumbra DLC)

Translations

I don't have in mind to translate this guide to any other langueage, because I'm a normal person and don't have unlimited time.
If you're interested in translating it to any aother language, feel free to do it, as long as you give me credit. I'll be glad to post here links to any translation you make.

COMBOS

Sometimes is easy to get various achivements at same time, like winning with a factions, with some specific condition and difficulty level at same time. I won't go into this part, but if someone has an awesome combo that unlocks various achievements quickly, you can post into comments sections, and I'll consider making a section for this.

Typos, grammar and orthography

I'm not a native english speaker, so feel free to notify me any mistake in grammar, orthography, or typo you spot.
Difficulty
In this section the achievments related to difficulty levels are listed. Have in mind that once you get one of these, the lower difficulties are immediately unlocked, so if you're a 4X or Ammplitude games veteren, I recommend skipping difficulties below normal.

The funniest way to get them is using vanilla factions and playing the game until you master it, but if you need a little push, you can:
  • Use custom factions. If you want to go that way, use the pop bonus that give the best FIDSI per pop and specially industry, science and approval bonus, as these three will be a problem.
  • Set up the game. Using a tiny galaxy, playing against 1 non-military AI and rushing its capital to achive a quick supremacy victory is a good option.
  • CHEAT. This is by no way fun, but if you want these achievements so badly, spoiling your own amusement, you can make a custom faction with all negative traits you can put to it, and then force the AI to play with this faction.

Baby Steps
Win a game in Sandbox or higher difficulty against AI

Training Wheels
Win a game in Easy or higher difficulty against AI

Just Warming Up
Win a game in Normal or higher difficulty against AI

Strove, Sought, Found, Did Not Yield
Win a game in Hard or higher difficulty against AI

Barely Broke a Sweat
Win a game in Serious or higher difficulty against AI

Piece of (True) Cake
Win a game in Impossible or higher difficulty against AI

The Learner Is Now the Master
Win a game in Endless difficulty against AI
Victory types
The Unstoppable Force
Win a Conquest Victory

You obtain this one by owning (either by conquest, colonization or assimilation) a number of systems. As the number changes depending on your game settings, I recommend looking at your empire screen into victory progress tab. This number is lower in smaller galaxies.
I recommed using a militaristic faction or Horatio.

Dice with the Universe
Win a Science Victory

You obtain this one by unlocking all four victory techs, that are very visible into tech tree, just surrounding last stages.
Sophons recommended.

Numbers. They Don't Lie.
Win a Score Victory

You obtain this one by being the player with higher score at turn 300 on normal speed.Works with any faction.
I recommend turning of all other victory conditions, because if you're playing in lower difficulties is easy to accidentally won with another condition before turn 300.
In G2G conversation @The-Cat-o-Nine-Tales, pointed that it's possible that it requires to be done in normal speed. Just for the record, set speed to normal when going for that one.
In last comments @Lans the Griffin told that he checked this condition and can be done in fast speed.

Bow Before Me!
Win a Supremacy Victory

You obtain this one by conquering all other players homesystems.
Playing a militarist faction in tiny galaxy and against 1 AI makes it quicker.
After Supremacy expansion, homesystems that are killed by an obliterator shot doesn't count for this condition. If you have the expansion, a way to obtain this one is firing obliterators against homsystems (be careful with Unfallen shield...)

Feel the Glory
Win a Wonder Victory

You obtain this one by building an specific number of Obelisks of All Space-Time, that are unlocked once you reach stage 5 in Empire and Development quadrant in tech tree. You'll have to build them one by one. The required number is shown in victory screen, and is lower in smaller galaxies.
Riftborns and United Empire recommended, but works with any industrialist.

Maybe It Does Buy Happiness
Win an Economic Victory

You obtain this one by collecting a set quantity of Dust. The quantity varies with galaxy settings and can be seen into victory screen.
@The-Cat-o-Nine-Tales told me that it's importat to remember that the only dust that counts is the one you are producing, and other sources like selling resources into market doesn't counts. Also remember that you don't have to keep that dust, just produce it, so don't feel shy in spending that dust in any way you want.
Lumeris recommended, as they can deal with inflation.

I Am the Eternal End
Win by eliminating all the other empires

This one is auto-explanatory. Just kill everyone else.
Here I strongly reccoment turning off supremacy and conquest conditions, to avoid an accidental win with one of those before you can eliminate all other empires.
Militarists faction recommended.
Faction wins
This section achievements are self explanatory, as they ask you winning with every faction, so I'll only list them, adn reccommend the best victory type IMO match every faction.
For custom faction you can create them by opening a menu clicking over faction portrait when setting up a game. And remember to switch on the slider to allow custom factions.
Remember that achievements that requires winning with factions from DLC are listed in its DLC section.

I Did It My Way!
Win with a Custom Faction

That one is very dependant on the faction you created, so here every type of victory can fit.

They Saw Madness - I Found Genius
Win with Horatio

Good with almost every victory, I would reccomend going for a Wonder victory (if you can splice some pop that provides industry) or expansion (if you can splice some pop that provides Approval)

Still Hungry
Win with the Cravers

Any military victory fits them: supremacy, expansion or elimination.

I Know the Families
Win with the Lumeris

Economic victory is the best way for this faction.

Order and Balance
Win with the Riftborn

They're ideal for Wonder victory, but works well with Science too.

They Have Always Been First
Win with the Sophons

Best with science victory

It Will Not End with Fire
Win with the Unfallen

A hard one to reccomend a victory condition, but if I had to I'll tell going for expansion.

Whatever the Cost, Whatever the Effort
Win with the United Empire

IMO one of the most versatile factions, they work well with any victory type, but IMO the quickest you can achieve are either the military (supremacy or expansion) ones or Wonder.

We Will See The Heretic Drown in His Blasphemies
Win with the Vodyani

With them I'll go for a science or wonder, but as UE they can go well with any victory type.
Faction quest
This section lists all achievements you get for completing factions quests. Here I won't give any specific advice for completing quests, because different from other Endless games, quests have various paths and endings with different rewards and lore outcomes.
Feel free to explore them all.
As general advice, the rewards are shown before you pick the path in most of cases. This is very useful to plan ahed if you're pursuing another achievement, or need that boost for a victory.

Virtually Endless
Complete the Cravers faction lore quest

The Other Clone Wars
Complete the Horatio faction lore quest

Don’t Ever Take Sides Against the Family Again
Complete the Lumeris faction lore quest

What If There Is No Tomorrow?
Complete the Riftborn faction lore quest

The Cake Was Delicious
Complete the Sophons faction lore quest

Branching Out
Complete the Unfallen faction lore quest

Absolute Power
Complete the United Empire faction lore quest

Am I My Brother's Keeper?
Complete the Vodyani faction lore quest
Faction specific
Here are some general game achievements that needs to be done with specific faction, achievements that can be done with any faction will be in another section.

There Can Be Only Me
As Horatio, invade the home system of another Horatio player

The quickest way to get is play in a tiny galaxy as Horatio against another Horatio.

All for One…
As Horatio, splice the genes of at least 6 populations in a single game

What you have to do here is to splice 6 other populations in a sigle game. to plan for this, have in mind that each pop spliced increases the pop cost for the next one. If you need more numbers for some specific pop, go to your pop screen and use the luxuries boost to increase the chance to grow this specific pop.
As @The-Cat-o-Nine-Tales pointed, for this one, before starting the game, when setting it up, you can increase the number of minor factions in the game. It will help you a lot to find people to splice.

The Eighth Plague
As the Cravers, fully deplete all the planets of 3 systems you captured from your opponents

In this one, what you have to do is conquer 3 system from any other player. Then move cravers pop using spaceport to the conquered systems. As cravers pop slowly deplete planets you'll get this one with time once you moved the pop. Look at the systems each to turn to ensure you have cravers in all planets. Conquering 1-planet systems with little pop slots makes it quicker.

In case you're not familiar with spaceport, its in the lower part of system view info bar. You'll have acces to it once you system is lvl 2. Then some slots will appear, to move pop, drag and drop the desired pop unit and pick the system you want to send it.

Dust. Powerful Stuff.
As the Lumeris, sell 3 of your outposts in a single game

To sell a Lumeris outposts, you have to go to diplomatic screen, and then offer the outpost as any other item. Remember to gather influence enought to make the offer, be sure that the outpost is sold before turns into a colony, and sell it very cheap (like 1 dust), to ensure that the AI buys it.

Buying Elections
As the Lumeris, use Dust to help the Pacifist party three times during elections in a single game

Every 20 turns you'll have an election. Each government have its own way to cheat, in lumeris case, they start with a republic, that uses dust to cheat, so don't change your government. In your next elections just pick pacifist and click over the cheating option that favours them the most. Ensure previous to elctions to have enough dust. Do it 3 times.

Through the Looking Glass
As the Riftborn, form an Alliance with 3 non-Riftborn empires

You increase your chances of making alliances playing in big galasies, against various AIs, lower difficulties and accompanying your offer with dust, techs or resources. Try deals that clearly favour the AI.

88 MPH!!!
As the Riftborn, use a Fold Singularity to keep a fleet moving after warping through a Wormhole

Here you need three systems, two connected with a wormhole and two with a lane, like in this screenshot:

What you need to do is place a fold singularity in system B (you can see the green singularity here) and make a fleet move from A to C passing through B as the orange arrows show.

Here[www.games2gether.com] you can find more details about this achievement.

Yin and Yang
As the Sophons, assimilate the Mavros minor civilization by assisting them through a Quest

To assimilate Mavros, make sure you unlock the Off-World Agribusiness tech to unlock diplomacy with minors.
If you're not lucky and there's no Mavros in your game, in this G2G thread[www.games2gether.com] you can found galaxy seeds that should have Mavros in your galaxy. To use these seeds, go to galaxy settings whem setting up your game.

Sophon'd Of Science
As the Sophons, research 10 technologies with a 50% Omniscience bonus in a single game

Sophons get bonus for researching techs that any other faction has researched yet. to see how strong the bonus is, just hoover you mouse over the green triangle next to a tech. As 50% is the max bonus, plan carefully what techs you want, of just rush for the ones with highest bonus, regardless your game situation if you're playing on sandbox difficulty.
@The-Cat-o-Nine-Tales suggests playing it 1vs1 against a non-Sophon AI, because if there are more players, you're at risk of loosing the research bonus quick if they research different techs. Having only another player, you can avoid the risk of loosing all bonus at once

In this screenshot, you can see a tech with full 50% reduction in the yellow circle, plus another one that has lost part of this bonus, due to other factions have researched it before you, in the red circle. Just compare its sizes to get a quick idea.

Faction specific (part 2)
Galaxy2Gether
As the Unfallen, assimilate the Eyder minor civilization into your empire

Similar to "Ying and Yang". In this G2G thread[www.games2gether.com] you can found seeds with Eyder, in case you're not lucky.

Tree Huggers
As the Unfallen, extend Vines to 5 systems of an empire with whom you have signed a Peace agreement

To extend vines, just place vineships to an uncolonized system and press the action to start doing it.
In this thread[www.games2gether.com] you can find more information.

By Your Command
As the United Empire use your influence to research Liquid Composites and buy a Carrier ship in the same turn

My recommendation here is to try it once you have collected enough influence to buy both, then queue liquid composites and buy both. to buy something with influence, you'll find an icon next to it, like the one to buy with dust.

The Empire's Death Star
As the United Empire, destroy a Terran planet by firing a Carrier's Core Cracker

Here you need to unlock the military stage 4 necessary techs, because planet crackers can only be mounted on carriers. Then look for a terran planet, park the carrier on the system until its charged (5 turns) and do the thing.
If you have Supremacy DLC, the core-cracker tech is on stage 4.
If you don't found any terran planet, again in this G2G thread[www.games2gether.com] you may find galaxy seeds with terran planets.

Endleus Vult!
As the Vodyani, destroy another Vodyani's Ark and recover the wreck for yourself

I recommend playing in tiny galaxy vodiany vs Vodiany. Once you have destroyed an Ark from your enemy, place a fleet there, and an special action will appear, allowing you to retreive this ark from a cost.

By Our Grace You Were Elevated
As the Vodyani, leech at least 500 Essence in one turn

Just make a fleet with leechers equipped with as max as possible essence modules and park it over any inhabited system. Better if it is a fresh system.
Collection
This section refers to all achievements that requieres the collection of some specific amount of FIDSI, turns played, and any kind of sutuff.
I won't get into evry specific achievement, because you'll get every one of them sooner or later as you keep playing.

Loremeister
Complete all the base game faction lore quests (Sophon, Cravers, Vodyani, Lumeris, United Empire, Horatio, Riftborn and Unfallen)

A Small Loan of a Million Dust
Gain 1 000 000 Dust, across any number of playthroughs

Scrooge McDust
Gain 2 000 000 Dust, across any number of playthroughs

King Midust
Gain 4 000 000 Dust, across any number of playthroughs

Cash Cow
Have 1 system which produces more than 1 000 Dust

Harvester
Have 1 system which produces more than 1 000 Food

Massively Massive Mass Production
Have 1 system which produces more than 1 000 Industry

Labs and Fabs
Have 1 system which produces more than 1 000 Science

Corridors of Power
Have one system which produces more than 500 Influence

Those 5 are easy to get if you play in sandbox difficulty. Stack in same system improvements for same resource. you can even stack everyt improvement plus wonders and unique improvements in same system.

Strategically Loaded
Have 100 of each strategic resource

Getting Schooled
Level up a Hero to level 10

Graduation Day
Level up a Hero to level 20

A way to quickly level up heroes is to put them into a new colonized system, and them purchase every improvement in that system. Of course this requires a little planning.

Ad Astra!
Play for 300 turns, across any number of playthroughs

Heroic Patience
Play for 1,000 turns, across any number of playthroughs

Endless Gamer
Play for 10,000 turns, across any number of playthroughs

For those 3 the only way I found is just play the game. Have to recgnize playing 10,000 turns is my only pending achievement.
A way to play quickly is enabling timers when setting up your game, and playing in slower speeds. This way your games will last more turns, but play faster.
General gameplay
This achievements can be done with any faction, I put here because I thought they didn't match exactly any other section.

Ctrl + Alt + Delete
Win the Academy Quest on the Rejuvenator side

Sins of the Fathers
Win the Academy Quest on the Defender side

Those two are easy to get. Every game Academy quest triggers around turn 100-150 (normal speed) with a first part. Even if you fail the first part, the second will trigger afeter 50-100 turns. Once the second triggers you're asked to pick a side. You need to complete the quest with both sides to get both achievements.
I won't go into specifics of this quest, because it may differ depending your choices, and don't want to spoil you.
If you want some SPOILERS: try to have 2-3 seeker heroes with its movement points maxed out before the quest goes into its final chapter. you'll need them to reach the asked nodes before the other team.

I'll Bite Your Legs Off!
Win a game never winning a battle - by Kweel_Nakashyn

This is a hard one. the way I get it was completely avoiding any fight. Put minors and pirates at their minimum, and then play against one AI in big galaxy. With this settings and playing in lower difficulties, you can get a science or wonder victory without having to fight anyone.

The Final Frontier
Be the first to explore 100% of the Galaxy

Here play in a tiny galaxy, unique constellation, lower difficulty and against 1 AI. At game start stack movement modules in your exploresrs, and get verything than increases movement: start with Unfallen to get a seeker, or play Sophons to get the bonus movement and against Riftborn, who have a negative movement trait. This way its not much fun, but you get the achievement quickly.

Home Is Where the Heart Is
Colonize one of each type of planet in one game - by C0ldSn4p

Play in bigger possible galaxy against 1 AI and in low difficulty. this way you should have enough space to colonize and RNG to get all planet types in your galaxy.
If you need a checklist, there's one in this G2G thread[www.games2gether.com].

Aurigan Trail
Control a trade route leading from your starting star system to the system containing the legendary planet Auriga - by Ishmishmish

Use the same G2G thread[www.games2gether.com] as previous achivement. there is at least one seed containing Auriga. If you're playing with Vaulters DLc, Auriga will be almost always in your galaxy.
My reccomendation: colonize Auriga to ensure you put an HQ/subsidiary there and the other at your homesystem, this way you make sure that the route passes through Auriga.

Back to School
Discover the Academy with a Hero-led fleet

Starting with Unfallen to have a seeker hero and unique constellation may help being first to discover the Academy with your hero.

We Hit Pay Dust!
Have 3 Trade Companies that are level 7 or higher

You'll get this one by creating 3 trade companies and levelling up their dust ships into your economy and trade screen. First company is unlocked at stage 3 Economy and trade quadrant, and the others are unlocked as you get more dust from trade.
Trade companies will lvl by their own once created. I reccomend buying ships for companies to make them lvl quicker. try to favor the last company to catch with the other faster.

Vive la Révolution !
Have four laws active at the same time in a game where you've changed your government type and leading party at least once

First you need to change your government. I recommend starting with any non-democracy faction. Then unlock the tech that allows to change government, go to your government screen and change to democracy. Once you reach the Empire and development quadrant stage 5, your democracy will have 5 law slots. Activate at least 4 laws and the achievement is yours. Remember to end the turn or you won't get it.
@The-Cat-o-Nine-Tales made me remember that Cravers cannot change government, so do it with any other faction.
Have in mind that after last update dictatorships have 4 total law slots once you reach stage 5 of E&D quadrant. You can consider using it if you have problems changing your leading party.

Friends With Benefits
Have three mutually beneficial agreements active at the same time between you and another empire

Basically negotiate in favour of the other party. Playing with vanilla game first versions it was enouhg sith being at peace/alliance, a trande and a science agreement with the same faction.

Cornering the Market
Unlock the whole Economy and Trade technology quadrant in a single game

Stellar Utopia
Unlock the whole Empire Development technology quadrant in a single game

The Art of War
Unlock the whole Military technology quadrant in a single game

Brains Over Brawn
Unlock the whole Science and Exploration technology quadrant in a single game

Those four are easy to get in the same game if you play in lower difficulties and delay a victory until you have unlocked all stages in all 4 quadrants.

The Root of the Problem
In a single game, invade 5 enemy systems benefiting from being entwined with Unfallen Vines and un-entwine them

This one is confusing. What it asks for is to invade 5 Unfallen systems and wait until the roots retire. Once roots completely retired and you end a turn, you'll get this one.
Remember to pick some Unfallen adversaries when you set up your game.
Seems that it also works if you invaded systems with vines from a faction allied with Unfallen.

Et Tu, Brute?
Use Privateers to secretly attack a fleet or a system belonging to a member of your Alliance

For this one you need to unlock the market tech in stage 4 of economy and trade quadrant and the deniable ops in military quadrant. then buy some ships and you'll have and option to turn them into privateers. Once you've turned them privateers ally an empire and attack one of its fleets with your privateers. Havve in mind that you cannot turn into privateers fleets with heroes.
Endless day
Endless Day
You have unlocked the Endless archivist; the being that watches the watchers…

Every Amplitude game has an achievement related to Endless Day, which is January 21st.
What you have to do for ES2 achievement is play during endless day until you get a quest called "Stranger at the door" and finish that quest (I won't spoil you, but it's an easy one)
If you missed that day, you can always change your computer clock.

NOTE: As @GARASHTA pointed in comments section, the Endless day achievements usually are doable from 21st to 25th of january.
Vaulters expansion
https://store.steampowered.com/app/733140/Endless_Space_2__Vaulters/

In this expansion section, there are some self-explanatory achievements which I'll only list, like the ones asking for winning with an specific faction. On the rest I'll try to guide you.
for achievements that require diplomacy with pirates, remember that with the proper tech you can access it like diplomacy with minors by clicking over a lair circle.

Lost and Found
Complete the Vaulters faction lore quest

My People, the Vaulters
Win with the Vaulters

Roach Control
As the Vaulters, teleport a Fleet of 7 CP (or more) to a Pirate Lair

To teleport you fleets to a pirate lair, you need to:
  • Have aportal build in at least one system.
  • Unlock the tech taht allows diplomacy with minors and pirates in stage 1 of Empire and developement quadrant.
  • Sign a non-agression pact with pirates (it costs influence)
Once you have done all these three, just move a 7CP fleet from the system with the portal to a pirate lair. It will teleport and you'll get the achievement (remember that you may need to end that turn too).

You can look into comments section. There @zeshoot explains how you can achieve this one using the Argosy.

Cogito Argosy
As the Vaulters, colonize Auriga and assign OPBOT as its System Governor

As this is self-explanatory, there are two parts that you may need help:
  • Having Auriga in your galaxy: normally if you have this DLC installed you'll get Auriga somewhere, but just in case you want to make sure, in this well known G2G thread[www.games2gether.com] you can found galaxy seed with Auriga.
  • Obtaining OPBOT: you have to follow Vaulters faction quests.Whatever path you chooose, at some point you'll be offered an option that will grant you OPBOT. Pick it and continue the quest.

No Mercy
Assimilate the Sisters of Mercy minor faction by invading their system

Also self explanaty, again you have galaxy seed with Sisters of Mercy in this G2G thread[www.games2gether.com] and this steam thread.

Stop Right There, Criminal Scum!
Destroy 4 Pirate Lairs in a single game

I'm the Captain Now
Use Boarding Pods to hijack a Pirate Ship

To get this one you need to:
  1. Unlock boarding pods in S3 military quadrant.
  2. Equip one of your whip designs wit it and build some of that ships. I recommend a T2 hull in a big fleet to make sure you achieve the last step.
  3. Use that ship or fleet of that design to win a battle against pirates.
After winning the battle, all pirate destroyed ships will change to your control. End the turn and the achievement is yours.
Remember to make sure also that you have some MP in your ships, as boarding pods won't work with a fleet with 0 MP.

I've Got a Jar of Dust
Buy 5 Pirate Marks in a single game

After unlocking diplomacy with pirates, you'll have an option to buy a pirate mark for some dust. Just buy it into pirates diplomatic screen, and once you have it under your empire control bar, click and place over an enemy system. Do it 5 times.
@The-Cat-o-Nine-Tales recommended doing it quickly because AI tries to get non-agression pacts with pirates, case in which you cannot place the pirate mark.
Supremacy expansion
https://store.steampowered.com/app/806780/Endless_Space_2__Supremacy/

Like in Vaulters expansion, here some achievements are self-explanatory and I'll only list them.

"Eternal Glory" and "Perfect warriors" can be achieved in a single game. If you're interested, look into comments section for @zeshoot explanation. I obtained both in different matches, so I'll left his explanation, in case you want to save some time.

For Honor
Win as the Hisshos

Semper Fidelis
Complete the Hissho faction lore quest

Perfect Warriors
Have the 4 honorable actions active at once

You obtain this one by having the four Keii actions active at same time. They're: Homeland defense, War banner, Way of the Obsidian Eagle and Order of the Red Blade. Every one has a Keii and resource/dust cost, and lasts for some turns. Just sum all the costs, and once you have enough to activate all of them, do at same time and end the turn. Next turn you'll get this achievement.

Are You Entertained?
As a Hissho, destroy at least 20 CP in less than one phase of space battle

This one is also self-explanatory.
Still may be you can found some troubles, so if you need a push:
  • Play on hard or higher difficulty. This way you're sure that the AI will be capable of making 20CP fleets at a reasonable turn. On lower you may win before it happens.
  • Play 1vs1, this way you ensure that the AI doesn't spend resources fighting other factions. Sometimes if they're at war with a 3rd party, they can't send you 20CP fleets.
  • Have a carrier/behemoth with a tractor beam to ensure the AI don't flee.
  • Dons't heshitate in sending low-cost fleets taht you'll loose for sure to soften the 20CP fleet before you engage it with your main fleet. If you decide to go that way, save after every fight, just in case you kill 1CP in next attack.
There's more infor in this G2G thread[www.games2gether.com]

Eternal Glory
Win with the Hissho without having ever been under 50% Keii

This one is easy, as long as you have in mind that colonization Keii costs increases with every new system and the costs of Keii actions. Just play tall and don't use actions if you can win without them.
I reccomend not going for this one and Perfect warriors at same time for obvious reasons.

We Spared No Expense
Own 1 Obliterator, 1 Juggernaut and 1 Citadel at once

Is It Overheating Yet?
Fire one single Obliterator twice in the same turn

Just remember that the second shot has a cost in Orichalcix and Quadranix, so save it before attempting the achievement. Shot once and then twice.
Remember too to have some enemy system to shot at visible.

I Smell Burning Redsang
Win a game without ever capturing a system after a successful ground battle

With Supremacy expansion there's an overhaul of the siege system and after winning a ground battle, you are offered 3 options, regardless the other two, NEVER choose "occupy".
A possible viable way is to raze and recolonize.
Another way is trying something close to "I'll bite off your legs" achievement, but have in mind that this way you may be short of Keii quicly.
You can found a graphic explanation in this G2G thread[www.games2gether.com].

Have in mind that I'm not sure if you need the DLC installed to get this one, as with the expansion came a free rework of invasion system and may be you can get it without the DLC.

Not a Scratch
Use a Behemoth to reassemble all the planets in a system destroyed by an Obliterator or Core cracker

Best way to get it is to destroy a system with an obliterator and then send a behemoth equipped with "Advanced climate engineering" modules and wait until the planets are restored. Better if the system is only 1 or 2 planets.
In this G2G thread[www.games2gether.com] you can find an explanation on how restoration modules work.

To the Death
Destroy an enemy Behemoth with a fleet containing a Juggernaut

Another self explanatory. Remember you unlock Juggernauts in S4 of military quadrant. Upgrade a behemoth and kill another one.
Finding other behemoths, specially economic ones should be easy, as the AI builds almost every game. If you're short of behemots, there's one in Hissho faction quest, delay it chapter until you have your Juggernaut prepared.
Penumbra expansion

Umbral Wisdom
Complete the Umbral Choir faction quest

Just complete the quest. Won't give advice here. First because the quest is, at penumbra release, the one with more paths. Second really you don't want it spoiled.

The Spider
Own at least 1 Sanctuary in 5 opponent Empires

Here, just do what is asked. For better settings, use tiny galaxies with high connectivity and 5+ other factions to ensure you have enough victims and lots of opportunities to hack.
To create sanctuaries:
  • Hack empty systems and colonize a planet. Then wait until another faction places a colony there.
  • Hack other factions systems. Once you placed two sleepers on a system, in next hack you can place a sanctuary.
In case you put a sanctuary in a system that has a sanctuary from other UC player in another planet, this one will count too for this achievement.

Rapture
Abduct the entire population of an enemy star system

For this one the easy and quickest way is the one describen by @Morionvv: create a sanctuary on a system, put your sanctuary link there, declare war to the owner, and once you have pop in your sanctuary equal to system pop, invade. Once the option to pick invasion result appears, minimize it, zoom to your sanctuary, turn all your pop into sleepers (so every pop in planet will be a sleeper), go back to invasion results and pick the one in the middle, which will abduct all pop in the system, turning them into super-pop in your HS.
Suggest following this steps to avoid a last turn purge of one sleeper, which make all that fail.
@.Moses @frohlocket posted that a viable option is doing the UC quest by military path, that asks you to invade a system. Once invaded abduct the system, and because it has no pop you'll get the achivement, even abducting 0 pop.

Wanderlust
Displace your Home system to each different Special node type in the Galaxy

Follow galaxy settings recommended by @Morionvv: tiny galaxy with low special nodes abundance. Start hacking nodes, once you place a transmigration beacon wait for the cooldown and move your system there. rinse and repeat. have in mind thepanalties to BW, because you can go out of BW if you move too quickly.
Remeber: it asks for every different special node, not every special node, so if one type is repeated you may skip one junp.

I need to mine
Reach 100 Bandwidth

The easy way to get it is playing with Unbral Choir. Their pop will give you +1 BW per pop, and their heroes have an ability that gives you +5/+10 BW al lvl 1/2 if assigned as governor. So, just playing UC, sooner or later you'll get enough BW from your pop to unlock this one.
Other ways you can get more BW are:
  • Researching techs that unlock hacking programs. If did numbers correctly is 5 per program.
  • pop collection bonus for UC.
  • You get some BW for sleeprs in other empires (This is an UC trait, but I think it's available for custom factions).
  • Kalmat mF pop will grant you also some BW per pop.

It's treason, then
Have one of your planets be empty after using the "Raid" action

For that one a tiny galaxy against various UC and clustered start is recommended. Playing a faction with lot of influence like UE can help a bit.
What you have to do is let UC put sleepers in your systems, so someway is better not defending against hacks. While waiting for UC planting sleepers research Optimized Logistics in E&T S4 that unlocks the ability Sleeper cull. Once researched go to a system, better if it have one planet with few pop slots, and activate Sleeper cull. It will kill all pop with sleepers and if one planet goes empty (even 1pop planet) you'll get the achievement. recommended a faction with high inf output because this action has a cost in influence.
The sleeper cull mechanic is explained in these tutorials: English, Español, Català.

@GrizzlyClaws decriben an alternative method in comments in Aug 1 2018. Won't put here due to space lmitations, but if you have problems cause UC don't put sleepers in your systems, I recommend reading it.

The seed is strong
Have an enemy system filled with 5 Sleepers you own

Has to be done using hacks. Seems sleepers from sanctuaries doesn't counts. Then look for a system easy to hack, do it 5 times and everytime pick the option "Embed sleeper".
Do it quicly to avoid your target purging your sleepers before completion.
@.Moses @frohlocket posted that a quick way is to put the first four sleepers using UC pop and the 5th with a hack. It seems that the only sleeper that you have to embed using a hack is the 5th one.

Thank god they use USB too
Hack an enemy Home System without passing or starting through any node you own

For this one, basically don't start the hack from your system, and don't pass through any of your systems. Plan a route accordingly. Then you can start your hack from:
  • A backdoor in a pirate lair, minor faction system or another faction system.
  • A sanctuary in a system owned by another empire
Remmeber that you'll nedd at least two hacks: one to create the backdoor (or in case of a sanctuary may require various hacks to create) and one to hack the other faction HS.

Predator
Destroy 3 enemy fleets of at least 4 CP with the same invisible fleet

Reccomended doing with UC, due to natural invisibility. Put your fleet into invisibility mode and attack 3 enemy fleets with 4+ CP and destroy. From my XP you should be the one attacking while being cloaked, so if the other fleet starts the battle it may not count.
If you're having problems with fleets retreating you can either pursue them or have a tractor beam.

Rule from the Shadows
Win as the Umbral choir

Just win with UC. Three victories that works better for UC IMO are: conquest, science and wonder.
Awakening expansion
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1128540/Endless_Space_2__Awakening/?curator_clanid=9611469

In this expansion you should be able to get all acievements in only two matches with some game setup. I recommend the following onew:

SETUP 1:
Use this one to get achievements from "So Shall It Be" to "Shared Vision".
Play Nakalim.
Use huge galaxy, with every faction you can put in (think 10 competitors its max.) and as many as possible minors, ovoid, high connectivity (some people used single constellation) and difficulty one or tow steps lower than your habitual. some people reported that using a low density will make your life easier.
If you want to pick every competitor, remember that Unfallen and Umbral Choir are immune to pacific conversion, which may be a problem with "shared vision".
Consider disabling Conquest and Supremacy victory conditions.

SETUP 2:
Use this one for "Making Amends" and "Academic Pursuits" achievements.
Play any faction, I recommend avoiding Nakalim, because due to their play it's easy to ally with Isyander and this will make those tow painful to get. Works better with warmongers.
Use any difficulty, with small to tiny galaxy, hihgh connectivity (consider sigle constellation).

Before starting, if you have any doubts about mechanics that may be not well explaind here, feel free to go to last part of this guide, there's a link to my YT channel where I made tutorials for every game mechanic required here, with Spanish and Catalan versions, and now I'm shamelessly publiciting.

So Shall It Be
Win as Nakalim

I reccomed combine this one with the following achievements in same game. This implies disabling conquest victory, which is the one that Nakalims fit better, but because you'll get lots of relics from giving systems to Isyander and lowered your difficulty, you should be able to reach a Wonder or score victory easily.

Prophetic Perfection
Complete the Nakalim faction quest

If you're using SETUP 1 to get six achivements in a row, I reccomend picking the option to give planets to the academy in chapter 4, wich will combine perfectly with "Shared vision".
Said that, I won't spoil you any more. Enjoy the quest!

Righteous Reliquary
As a Nakalim gather 50 Relics through a match

You can get relics in 3 ways:
  • By collecting them in nodes every time relics appear with a fleet. It's an special option and will take 4 turns.
  • From quests. Consider rushng faction quest (sorry, no more spoilers).
  • From giving systems to Isyander. Againg if you use SETUP 1 and go for "Shared vision" you should get lots of relics this way.
I recommend rushing the quest reward, and give as many systems to Isyander as possible, because searching them in a Huge galaxy, even with using seeker heroes, will be a p*** in the a**.

Acade-me
Roles collector - Became all 4 Roles of the Academy in a single match

To get a role, what you have to do is give Isyander as much as possible of the resource he demands during the request phase of the new Academy roles feature. You can drag & drop the roles, so put the one you need on the left and ensure be the most contributor.
To ensure a role, I recommend giving Isyander a small amount of the asked resource at request phase turn 1, then in the last turn all AIs has made their contributions and you'll be able to calculate how much of thisresource you have to give to Isyander.
If you're not good with maths, an easy approach is to:
  1. Pick your actual contribution
  2. Multiply by 100
  3. Divide by the % it represents on the actual ranking bar
  4. The quantity you have now gives you a very accurate idea of the sum of every contributions (of how much represents the total quantity in the bar)
  5. Now take this quantity, multiply by the better contributor %, divide by 100, and you have an idea of the minimum amount of resource you have to give to Isyander to be the first contributor.
If you're in doubt, you can still quit the Academy diplomacy screen and acces it again. The rank will update and you'll know your new position.
Remember I recommend waiting until last turn, because contributing before will make the AIs put more resource and increase your costs.
IMO best order is Spear of Isyander -> Vault Keeper -> Master of dust -> Lybrarian -> MoD until game end. This is because at start you'll need the fleet or at least deny it to potential early agressors, second, the available dust for MoD will increase as game progress, making easy to get "Not for Profit".
If you want to calc the turns it will cost, have in mind that every "cicle" will take 40 turs (20 for request & 20 for having the role).

Not For Profit
As Master of Dust, gift 15000 amount of Dust in a single match

To get this one, get the MoD role, as explained above, and give 15000 dust to any other faction. You can do it from diplo screen, it's a blue icon with dust + Academy symbols in the resources tab.
I recommend doing it in mid-late game, because the dust available for the Academy increases as game progress.

Shared Vision
Galaxy Academization- As a Nakalim help the Academy control over half of a huge galaxy

To do get one you have to play Nakalim and give systems to Isyander, until you gifted half of a Huge galaxy. To give systems to Isyander, you need to:
  • Build a Temple in one of your systems.
  • Grow your in area until another colonized system is covered (can be minor, major faction or from quests)..
  • An Academy icon appears nex to it. Just click once you have enough inf to pay the cost.
  • Remmeber it has same limitations as Peaceful conversion, except you need to build a temple instead of a tech.
This is a hard one, some useful hints are:
  • Pick victory conditions that make the game longer, specially avoiding supremacy and conquest.
  • Avoid Vodiany, Umbral Choir and Unfallen
  • Invade systems that are in the middle of another faction, and expand influence.
  • End wars to give colonized systems to other factions and convert them.

Making Amends
Lots of reparation - Accumulate 20000 amount of reparations to the Academy, and then get a clean slate

For that one, be a bad*ss with Isyander. Invade their systems and attack their fleet. Looking at Academy diplo screen you'll see the amount of reparations you have to pay. Once it's over 20000, pay it and you get the achievement.
I recommend using SETUP 2, cause with SETUP 1 you'll almost sure be ally with Isyander, which will forbid you to attack the Academy.

Academic Pursuits
Take control of the Academy's Home System by force

Works very well with the previous one. Follow same strategy sith SETUP 2, and invade Harrow. Also this will grow compensations very quick, so it's a two in one.

Laying Down the Law
Spear of Isyander - Destroy an enemy Fleet of at least 20 CP with the Academy attack Master Fleet

Get the Spear of Isyander role, and kill a 20CP fleet with the Academy fleet. The way to get a role is explained above.
It can be done with any of the setups explained, but if you're doing the "Acade-me", consider changing the roles unlocking order, because until mid or end game, you won't have 20CP enemy fleets.

Very helpful, thanks!

Some of the links in the original guide are broken nowadays, as it's no longer on the games2gether domain.

I'm not able to find a list of seeds for the Galaxy2Gether or Yin and Yang achievements anymore, but the seeds below by Csontzuzn work for me also in the latest patch (setting academy expansion to none).

If anyone is struggling with getting the "Not For Profit" achievement, you need to install the 1.5.48 backup/beta version to be able to get the Master of Dust role from the Academy. To speed things up, you can donate a large sum of gold to the Academy when they are asking for gold contributions. I donated about 60k gold to the Academy, which meant that I was able to donate 15k gold when I became the Master of Dust to another faction. (Otherwise the Academy might take forever to generate enough gold for you to donate 15k gold in total).

I'd like to add some clarification for the UC :
- The Spider : it looks like the system Icandescence, revealed by the Sophons quest, count as a separate Empire : set a sanctuary there will count for this achievement. I was playing against 4 Empires (with sanctuaries in each of them), then added a sanctuary in Incandescence, and I got the achievement.
- Wanderlust :@Deatheriin said it all
- The Seed is Strong : as you already said, you need to only have your 5th sleeper set through hacking, the converted UC pops will not count. Also in the FRA translation of the achievement, it is said that you need to get half of an ennemy system filled with sleepers ; i don't know why it is said like that where you need only 5 sleepers (I tried it on a 7 pop system, idk if getting 5 sleepers on a system with >10 pop will be enough or if you need to have half of the system like said in FR). Also "in an ennemy system" means "in a system whose owner is at WAR with you".

The master of dust got changed into the legate so Not for profit might be broken.
lo_fabre  [author] 9 Apr, 2022 @ 8:20am
@EndlessPlayer, I'm not sure if you can get the achievement this way. Some time without playing ES2, but the way you give systems to the academy is by having other empires systems into inf are of one of your systems with a temple, so destroying them I'm not sure may be a good idea.
EndlessPlayer 29 Mar, 2022 @ 11:25am
About Shared Vision, i have a guestion - I as Nakalim, i must give to academy half of galaxy, but Academy can build colony ship to take control of system. My question is if I destroy every empire in my game and academy will take this systems, i will get this achevement by this way?
lo_fabre  [author] 15 Mar, 2022 @ 11:09am
@Csontzuzo thanks for your post making a better picture for this achivement.
I'll be grateful if you tell me what's not clear, and any isdue you found and how to fix or improve it.
