Introduction
From the contrarian who brought you one of the most up-voted negative review on Steam, now brings you the most in-depth guide to playing Rapture Rejects. I've clocked over 70 hours in this game now, so I think it's time to finally share my wealth of knowledge with all of you.

This guide will probably never be completed, but it's still information someone might like.

Sadly I don't see this game being revived unless a lot of changes happen to it.
Controls
Rapture Rejects allows you to set primary and secondary buttons for every action you take in the game. If you're not someone who looks into the controls you might miss out on a few of these key-binds.

Out of these key-binds, don't forget that Q and E allow camera rotation, space is for dodge rolling, T is to throw your utility and that X is to unequip your weapon.

Whenever you pick up stimulants (keybind 0) always use them. They give you the advantage of sight over other rejects, which is undeniably the most important edge you could have.
Weapons
Rapture Rejects features a slew of weapons, from your fists to scrap and trash ammo firearms. They're comical looking and fit the game's aesthetic perfectly. All weapons have a very well defined use in this game but are still usable in any fight, you just need to learn how to use them.

[Fists]
Easily the most underrated weapons in this game, your fists are great weapon to swap to in close-quarters combat (CQC), get on-top of your foe and punch em out. Remember that shots from the Tromblunderbuss and Toaster Full of Knives don't begin at the players position, the projectiles spawn slightly off-center so you can use this to your advantage in CQC.

If you have 2 weapons already on hand, pressing X switches back to your fists.

[Scrap Ammo]
The scrap ammo weapons usually have a low ammo count but pack a high amount of damage.

Nailgun

The nailgun can be considered a starting weapon in this game. But don't let that fool you, it does pack a good amount of damage and is a very accurate shot. It's slow moving projectile speed is the only thing holding this back from being a true killer. However, if you accurately take your shots and weaken your opponent then that might be what turns a fight in your favor.
  • Found on the ground
  • 6 shots per clip
  • Reload time is 3 seconds
  • Does not have an alt-fire

Tromblunderbuss

Usually one of your close-range picks for when the fire ring gets nice and snug. Most encounters with this will be at close to mid so the alt-fire for this weapon comes in handy a lot. It's good to note that when you do alt-fire you will lose 1 of your shots from your clip so be mindful of that before you shoot away your last ammo.
  • Found in boxes
  • 5 shots per clip
  • Reload time is 3 seconds
  • Alt-fire is a mid-air explosive burst of shrapnel (Shrapnel Ball).

Toaster Full of Knives

If you didn't take the Tromblunderbuss as your close-ranged pick, then the Toaster Full of Knives is the other weapon for you to take. Packing only 2 rounds, this is one hell of a weapon to trade with. If you're wearing anything less then tier 2 armor expect to eat a shot from this and be dead instantly or have less then 15 percent of your health left.

Never forget that this alt-fire doesn't use ammo and can launch you over objects, that also means it will launch you through windows if you're aiming into a building from a window.
  • Found in boxes
  • 2 shots per clip
  • Reload time is 3 seconds
  • Alt-fire launches you into the air over opponents and objects (Rocket Jump).

Spork Rifle

If you prefer to keep your range to across a city block, then the spork rifle is right up your alley. It does similar damage to the nailgun but allows you to have a crazy amount of versatility using the alt-fire. Usually it's better to use it as a scouting weapon then an actual sniper rifle since dodging slow moving projectiles isn't that hard of a task, unless you have the element of surprise. As they say in Australia, snipin's a good job, mate.
  • Found in boxes
  • 6 shots per clip
  • Reload time is 5 seconds
  • Alt-fire zooms out your screen and charges and critical shot to deal a ludicrous amount of damage (Take Aim).

[Trash Ammo]
The trash ammo weapons usually have a high ammo count but pack a low amount of damage.

CD Launcher

Just like the nailgun, the CD launcher is also considered a starting weapon. What makes this weapon unique is how fast you can fire off your entire clip. While it might not do a lot of damage, if you're able to rapid fire 10 rounds into a reject it's gonna hurt.
  • Found on the ground
  • 10 shots per clip
  • Reload time is 1 seconds
  • No alt-fire

Reversed Pencil Sharpener

If submachine guns are more your flavor then the reversed pencil sharpener is perfect for your run and gun fantasies. With a fast rate of fire and a decent clip size you can spray into anyone who dares chase after you. Leading your shots with this weapon are important since the fire arc for weapons is slightly off the reticle.
  • Found in boxes
  • 20 shots per clip
  • Reload time is 1 seconds
  • Alt-fire is an instant reload packaged with a dodge roll (Dodge Reload).

Gumballer Rifle

Coming at us next is the gumballer rifle. Compare this to an assault rifle from most other shooters and you'd have a match! Good range, decent damage and a killer alt-fire all add up to this being a solid choice for close and far-range encounters. Pairing this weapon's alt-fire up with a Tromblunderbuss or Toaster Full of Knives is ideal because you'll make the enemy panic when they see that shotgun come out.
  • Found in boxes
  • 30 shots per clip
  • Reload time is 3 seconds
  • Alt-fire shoots a sticky gum explosion at your enemies and if it hits them slows them down for a period of time (Gum Shot).

Compost Rifle

Rounding off our weapon pool is the compost rifle. This is akin to a heavy machine gun in most shooters and allows you to rain down suppressing fire on foes. Using the alt-fire as a pushing tool, a last ditch-defense, or even just to escape are all viable choices.
  • Found in boxes
  • 30 shots per clip
  • Reload time is 3 seconds
  • Alt-fire allows you to negate any damage impacted on you and absorbs any bullets for you to then fire from your composting rifle, along with that it increases your speed a significant degree (Compost).
