Warning

This is a Change in the Registry, therefore the Heart of the OS. If you feel troubled or uncertain with this you might want to ignore this guide and stay safe. The Registry is no playground. Any change might break the whole OS, so please be careful.

The actual way to change it

Start -> run -> Regedit | or if you like "Win+R" -> Regedit
go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\UbiSoftCTU\UNO"
double-click on "Screenmanager Resolution Height_Hxxxxxx" (x = numbers)
change it to Decimal
enter height (example: 1080)
double-click on "Screenmanager Resolution Width_Hxxxxxx" (x = numbers)
change it to Decimal
enter Width (example 1920)
as precaution set "Screenmanager is Fullscreen mode..." to 0 (Window-mode)
start the Game UNO
if you like, you may press ALT+RETURN to switch in (and out) of Fullscreen
If your screen stays Black check both entries, are they set in decimal? switched?

It should look like this:

I received only positive feedback for this so far, but if someone runs into a troublesome resolution that the game can't handle please put this in the comment section.

Yeah, nothing happens for me. In fact, it instantly reverts back to the default value.

I only have 1 account on the system. In registry the options i get are:

Screenmanager Fullscreen mode Default
Screenmanager Fullscreen mode
Screenmanager Res height Default
Screenmanager Res height
Screenmanager Res use native default
Screenmanager Res use native
Screenmanager Res width default
Screenmanager Res width

no idea why i got so many! lol

I assume you got multiple user accounts on this system? I didn't check that though.

However, IF you would want to change it. I'd suggest exporting the whole section, deleting all Keys and starting the game without any key. -> so it generates a fresh entry.

I managed to get the resolution to change on my old pc but for whatever reason it will not change on my new pc. In the registry i have multiple screen manager options on my system. Changed them all and nothing happens.

I'm confused. When I change them they revert back when I start the game. What's going on?

I get the black screen when i set to 3840x2160. 2k works.
