"Pyro danced along, oblivious to the life changing experience it was about to have. The flames rose higher as pyro nursed the gas release on the flamethrower. An unsuspecting spy, caught in the flames ran screaming into the nearby pool of water. Wood from the crippled mining shacks crackled and popped as they turned to charred skeletons slowly leaning on a barren wasteland. A demented laugh rang out, muffled by the mask that filtered soot and ash from the burning air.

Suddenly, there was a burst of green light, and a metalic taste filled Pyro's mouth. Then it went dark. A wave of nausea ripped through Pyro's body as he was torn from physical existence into the gaping void. The sense of consciousness and self dissolved as the pyro sank below the murky waters, pulled under by an unseen force. Pyro flailed, trying to break free, ripping the gas mask off which had become clogged with a murky substance. Struggling for breath. Then struggling no more.

When Pyro came to, it was sore all over. A quick attempt at movement made it clear that Pyro was chained to a tree. The gas mask was laying next to Pyro, and the foul gasses that assaulted the nose made it clear that the mask was needed. Pyro rubbed the murk off the goggles until they were clear again, and blew through the mask to clear out the filter. Once satisfiled, Pyro put the wet and muddy rubber mask back on. The feeling of the mask against the skin was terrible, but as the smell of the environment faded, Pyro was glad to have it."
