FPS cap removing
To get more FPS thаn 62 go to:
C:\Users\ *Your Name* \Documents\My games\Styx\StyxGame\Config\StyxEngine
in the file StyxEngine.ini search for
MinSmoothedFrameRate=22 MaxSmoothedFrameRate=62
change to
MinSmoothedFrameRate=60 MaxSmoothedFrameRate=144
dependent on your Hz monitor, if you got 240 hz then change 144 to 240
What do you will get with these shaders?
  • Ambient Light
  • Bloom
  • Chromatic Aberration
  • Color correction
  • Antialiasing - FXAA
  • MXAO - Ambient Occlusion
  • Screen Space Reflections
  • Textrures Sharpening
Installation
DX9
Unpack all files and drop to
\Steam\steamapps\common\Styx\Binaries\Win64

DX11 (unrecommended)
do the same like with DX9 but rename " d3d9.dll " > " dxgi.dll "
on DX11 you dont have access to depthbuffer, so you CANT get ambient occlusion and screen space reflections. Better use DX9

one thing you can do to stop bodies flying about after death is to pick them up asap

pcgamingwiki claims that increasing the framerate cap causes the bodies to flop around and possibly fly at high enough framerates. 62 seems to be the optimal.

wouldn't uncapping the FPS cause the physics to get fucked?
