How to make the game start with AVAST AntiVirus running

I could not start the game having AVAST active.
Here is what fixed the problem for me:
1. Open AVAST
2. Click "Security"
3. Click "File System Shield"
4. Click "Settings"
5. Click "Exclusions"
6. Add "[Drive]:\Steam\SteamApps\common\WRC 4\*" with all three checkboxes active
7. Add "[Drive]:\Steam\SteamApps\downloading\*" with all three checkboxed active

The best solution is to uninstall avast, not fight it

Best to exclude your entire Steam folder, you won't be downloading a virus from Steam service as everything is directly uploaded by the developer. Just slows your games down if Avast has to scan files every time the games access them.

Heres an idea, UNINSTAL AVAST! Only been using windows defender for the past 2 years and have had no issues

You have to check the game data via Steam. It will download the exe again.

i can't start playing. my exe file not found again after avast procedure. ((
