I don't know this is correct , but I made a simple chart about the ECU behavior for all cars in ACC (Ver1.3).
Each car has own parameter and not common to others.

what sort of engine modes should you run for a 20 min race? i normally put about 43L of fuel in and run at mode 1, is it quicker to run at 2 or 3 and use less fuel?

Qual Power is a mode where huge amounts of fuel are used to increase power for qualification but the consumption is so high it would mean extra pit-stops in a race. Using Qual power in a short race (no pit-stop) would make no sense as the extra fuel you would need to carry would slow you down by more than the additional power could overcome. So Qual power is for qualification (three lap runs) only. Any other use makes little sense EXCEPT at the end of a race if you have over-fuelled the car. It then makes sense to use up the fuel to drop weight and possibly gain some time. However, this is not as good as having put the correct amount of fuel in to begin.
