Diagram
The diagram was generated from fragmentdata.txt, using a small Python script to extract the information and convert, and GraphViz[graphviz.org] for layout and rendering.

Please note that there are a couple of inconsistencies between the descriptions the game gives for a couple of the fragments and the actual dependencies it is looking for. "Footsteps in the fourth year" describes two dependencies but has none in the original (the 07th Mod makes them real dependencies). "An invitation to an end" describes two dependencies but actually has three. My diagram follows the actual dependencies in the original.

One thing the diagram doesn't show is what to do after you see "Leftover fragments" (7:3), when you're going on the normal path (i.e. not seeing the secret). It's not hard to figure out, but in case you can't, note that whenever you try to view a fragment too early, it gets a cracked appearance, and after you tried to view "A fragment of Matsuribayashi", it got that same cracked appearance. Also, the narrator said then that you didn't have everything available to view it, and then "Leftover fragments" appeared, which should be a hint. Now that you've viewed the latter, you're clear to view "A fragment of Matsuribayashi".

You can also find this diagram in three different formats[ipfs.io] (SVG, PDF, and PNG).

@Abyss Yes, that's a good idea. Thanks.

You may wanna clarify this on the guide, but there are two mistakes from the vanilla game, one was fixed by the mod and the other one was not.

>>> Regarding "Footsteps in the fourth year" the vanilla game has 2 descriptions but neither is coded as a requisite. The mod fixed this by adding their requisite numbers.

"Id":32,
"Description":"Satoshi Houjou's awareness of his sins is required.
\nThe forgiveness of Rena Ryuugu's sins is required.",
"Prereqs":[]

>>> Regarding "An invitation to an end" the vanilla game has 2 descriptions but 3 requirements. This one was not fixed by the mod.

"Id":42,
"Description":"A raw sea urchin and vitamin A are required.
\nA big teddy bear is required. She needs moral support.",
"Prereqs":[21, 20, 8]

Since the automation you created to generate the diagrams follows Prereqs it has both of these inconsistencies but it is 100% reliable in terms of what the game is actually asking for as opposed to what it says its asking for.

For the record, you can save at any time in the "Connecting Fragments" screens by using the EXIT button to return to the menu. But yeah, choosing "A Fragment of Matsuribayashi" after "Leftover Fragments" is the signal to proceed to the third act, so you'd want to save before doing that.

I imagine that doing these in the perfect order the first time wasn't Ryukishi07's intention. He probably meant for people to work it out for themselves—or among themselves—by some sort of analysis and maybe a little guesswork. Maybe he gave hints, too (though that's just a guess).

Damn it. I should've saved the game after viewing the 51st fragment but before viewing the 50th fragments for the 2nd time. Now I have to view all the fragments again after I finish the last chapter.

Oh, also, I've seen reports of people being somehow stuck and unable to get anywhere. I can't confirm this. I created this diagram partly in hopes to help these people, in case they are just missing something. Note that there is one error in the VN's descriptions of prerequisites. Specifically, the Fragment "Footsteps in the fourth year" is said to require two things, but actually requires nothing, i.e. it's one of the Fragments you can view from the start.

@dem1rell There is no such thing in this VN. This is kind of explained in the introductory text, but... Whenever you try to view a Fragment that you can't yet, you're told this, and the thumbnail gets an ugly cracked appearance on it, but you can still come back to it once you've fulfilled the prerequisites.

The only situation where you're not allowed to make mistakes is when trying to get the secret; in this case, you have to finish the VN once, then view the Fragments in a very specific order (not shown in this diagram), which is their chronological order. You don't necessarily have to view the Fragments twice. Instead, you can do them in the correct order the first time, make a save, proceed to the third act and finish, then reload the save; the secret will then be available. However, this does mean knowing the correct order early on, which you might not want.
