Flawless/Impossible Achievements
Achievements: Flawless Victory, Mission Impossible, and Impossible is Nothing.

Baby steps. Most levels have a route; for levels that do not have Magic Orbs try your best to gradually slice your way down the center of the map an inch at a time. This will destroy half of that level's towers and will activate the catapults which may potentially destroy the catapults on the remaining half of the stage.

TIP: Learn which towers fire which kinds of projectiles. Homing attacks in the later levels are not so easily dodged with a simple sidestep, however most attacks can be negated by simply moving to the side. There is a "firing order" to the towers in each stage. Observe this pattern and capture the level accordingly; if a tower has not fired in some time, it is due for another round. Small captures will not give towers enough time to "react" to your advances.

TIP: Capture easier towers without catapults whenever possible. Save the catapults for the stronger towers or Magic Orbs.

TIP: You do not receive a penalty for restarting a stage. If you are in level 2 of 2 restarting a level does not kick you back to the first castle. Restart often.
There's a New Sheriff in Town
The final stage is not very hard, but it is time consuming. Xitrof's shots go off in regular intervals, learn this rhythm and DO NOT advance when he is about to fire or else your death is essentially guaranteed. Follow these steps to make this level easier:

1) In the bottom left and right of the stage create a vertical wall using the spike barrier as a guide. Build this wall up to the Magic Orbs but do not touch them or they will kill you.

2) Depending on which side of the stage has more dragons hide on the inside wall of this vertical line you built. You can manipulate the flight patterns of the non-boss dragons by advancing outward just a few pixels and retreating back into the wall as they get close. You want to lure as many dragons into one of these traps as possible. They will be flying above the bat spawner and will eventually get "stuck" because of the lack of room between the two walls.

3) Carefully capture space toward the wall, inches at a time, until you are about to seal the dragon inside. DO NOT capture the dragon with the bat cave; you only want to ensure that the dragon cannot get out of this corner.

4) Save the other corner trap. On whichever side you followed steps 2 and 3 you now want to build a thin wall out and around the Magic Orbs. You will be making a bigger corner trap using the rest of this side of the level. You can likely get 2 more dragons trapped in this corner just by manipulating their flight. Again, you want to seal as close to the wall as you can get (the Orbs will stop you from capturing these dragons).

5) You can use this thin gap to "jump" to the other side of the stage where there are no bat caves. Build a corner trap in the remaining corner and trap the last dragon in it. You may capture this dragon.

6) This leaves you with the boss dragon. The boss dragon does not follow you and you cannot manipulate his flight pattern. You will have to be patient and wait for him to fall into your final bat cave trap. When he does this, seal him in so he cannot escape and then WAIT for him to perform his multiply move before sealing all three dragons inside the corner. If this is on the bat cave corner you will have to capture three bats, which now should not be an issue.
Greed is Good
This is most easily done on Stage 14. (The level where the Ballista enemy is introduced.)

Follow these steps:

1) Ideally you will make two captures from your starting point. These two captures should bring you straight up to the Ballista. (You will likely have to restart many times to get lucky timing as the dragons' initial flight directions are random.)

2) Your third capture will be around the Ballista, destroying it.

3) Your fourth and fifth captures will continue down the middle of the stage, capturing the entire left half (and possibly one or both dragons too).

4) WAIT. Let the catapults you captured destroy all of the remaining towers.

5) Return to the destroyed Ballista. Your sixth (through ninth if needed) captures will be obtaining the only shield left in the level.

TIP: The Ballista fires in routine intervals and its bolts do not hone in on you. It will likely fire between your first and second captures.

TIP: Enemy movement, especially the starting movement, is random. You will probably have to take multiple attempts at this stage.

TIP: This guide requires only six captures. This leaves you with three extra ones in case you get a bad start or need to use an extra one somewhere. Keep this in mind; your attempt may require seven!
Shield Bearer
This achievement is easiest on Level 12 (the very first snow level).

I do not need to break this one down into steps, this will take you about a minute. Make your way to the top of the stage, left of the shield on the left. You are going to want to inch your way down AROUND this shield and the next one, making a thin wall that encases but does not capture either shield. Connect this wall to the top of the stage to capture both shields simultaneously.
Merry-go-Round
This achievement can only be attempted in the levels with towers that fire homing magic attacks. There are three ways of getting this, two of them require invulnerability.

1) Get a Shield power-up. While invincible, run out toward an oncoming blast and let it circle around you.

2) Use the temporary invincibility period after death to do the same as method 1.

3) At the start of a level get a tower to fire upon you and retreat back to the wall. Holding CTRL, run along the entire stage to make the blast do a loop. (Note: You cannot perform this method on levels that have barriers.)
Let There Be Light
This one is only difficult because its description is vague. You must first have completed at least every stage except for the final boss. On the level select screen you will notice each level "lights up" when you hover over it. You need to hover over each level so they all light up approximately all at once. The tutorial island counts as a stage as well.

I found it easiest to start from the upper right (final boss) and make a serpentine motion that ends at the tutorial stage. I got this on my first try.
Hidden Achievements [SPOILERS]
Achievements: Z-Day and Survivor

To unlock "Zombie Mode" you simply have to rapidly wave your mouse over the bird on the title screen (the one that tweets when you hover over it) until the mode unlocks. It's that easy.

Zombie mode can be toggled in the lower right of the title screen. You simply have to complete the game in this new play mode to unlock "Survivor".

There are no other secret achievements in this game.
Wrap-Up
The rest of the game's achievements are not too hard and if you do not unlock them as you progress through the game you can easily grind for them in the appropriate levels.

I hope this guide has been helpful in obtaining some of this game's harder achievements. If this guide helped you out, give it a swell rating. If it really helped you out, I can always take donations in the form of trading cards, haha.

Thanks for checking out my guide! :)
