Description
This mod disables the depth of field effect that appears during in-engine cutscenes, conversations, and general gameplay.
  • Tested and working on the most recent patch (Patch 5).

Installation
INSTALLING THE PATCH

1. Extract the downloaded file
2. Locate YakuzaKiwami.exe in the installation folder of the game (Right-click the game on Steam, select Manage, Browse Local Files, open the folder named "media")
3. Backup the exe
4. Run the ppf-o-matic.exe located in the previously extracted folder
5. Click on the floppy disk icon next to ISO File
6. A window will open, in it change the dropdown next to Files of type from CD Images to All Files
7. In the same window locate the YakuzaKiwami.exe file, select it, and click Open
8. Click on the floppy disk icon next to Patch and select the PPF patch file
9. Click Apply
10. A window will pop up (ignore the text), click OK
11. Done

REMOVING THE PATCH

1. Replace the patched YakuzaKiwami.exe with the original one you backed up
2. If you didn't backup the exe, just remove the patched exe and verify the game files with Steam

there's an option to ignore that virus warning and just open it normally

Can we not ignore the step of having to try and convince your pc its not a fucking virus? I've had to use the patcher again after using the music patch since it wants the exe replaced to for some fucking reason. So tell us how to bypass the virus warning

So much better. Companies rely on DoF too much and its usually not tuned at all. At least tune it a bit guys!!11

Even worked perfectly with other mods, including ones like the licensed OST restoration, which was a new .exe.
