Anti Aliasing

TAA may look a little blurry but it removes aliasing better.

View Distance
https://youtu.be/FdUZ0L9Yn5Y
Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference
Texture Quality
https://youtu.be/hXPPJpv7HQI
Big difference from Low to Medium, no noticeable difference on High or VH
Foliage Quality
https://youtu.be/PlYhhiTQkzo
Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference
Effects Quality
https://youtu.be/1kfIbLpUe70
At High, particles have a higher frame rate, Incendiaries have a heat haze effect around them and explosions emit light.
Shadow Quality
https://youtu.be/fy4KQDhFzT0
The most demanding option. Set it to Medium so you get dynamic shadows around characters, which could save your life.
Post Processing
https://youtu.be/W2ZksHHUrRI
Mostly effects Depth of Field quality
Scope Setting
https://youtu.be/TCO4xMZb5cI
Normal zooms the entire screen, PiP only zooms in inside the scope. PiP is more realistic, but way too performance heavy.
Ambient Occlusion
https://youtu.be/ftOk_MYFtAI
Adds contact shadows, but is very demanding
Tessellation
https://youtu.be/Ai-X2ypRtqk
Makes terrains have extra depth. The effect is so subtle you can't even notice it in normal gameplay, and it is somewhat demanding
Foliage Interactions
https://youtu.be/jWNSalnd2u4
Again, another little detail you won't care about while playing
Dismemberment
https://youtu.be/1kn4CIqneDM
Now THIS little detail might make your gameplay better. I haven't noticed any performance impact with it on, so it nails down to personal preference
Screen Space Reflections
https://youtu.be/5H5c6VORtHY
Barely noticeable difference. Keep it off, just in case
Shadow Map Resolution
https://youtu.be/pckbyeBCw5Q
Controls Shadow resolutions. VERY demanding
Hierarchical LOD Transition Method
https://youtu.be/tL-utuye4NQ
Having it set to FoV makes the game load a more detailed LOD mesh of a building when viewing it through a scope, with very little performance impact

@coldertermite
In most games; effects, dismemberments and ragdolls (dead bodies) can heavily impact performance.

Hope this help :D: :b1:

thx the guide. it's really supporting. however I have a question.
I have 1650ti, i5 10th gen and 16gb RAM. my pc spec's is compensated for the recommended specs of the game. despite this and playing in 'medium' options, I got on stable 40 fps. but I want to play this game on 60 fps. what should I do?

Hey author, I cranked up the settings to max and I still get unrendered stuff when I turn around a corner. Is there a fix to this? It really doesn't look good

Post Processing also affects AO quality

i5 4570 and gtx 970 with 1600mhz ram and a SSD and i get like 50-60fps on average with my settings. This games a tough one to run.
