Beginners
If you new to play AVGN Adventures on Steam. I recommend you to discover the codes on your own.

If you having a hard time to find these codes, or you just have not sure if there's more codes or not, or you have not sure how many codes are there. Then move down to the next section. I'll list all the codes for you.

Before you going to use the codes. Some of the codes will not let you earn Steam Achievements such as "YOLO Achievement". Sorry, you have to complete the game without the codes! :-p

NOTE: If you're using a Keyboard. Go to "Options" then go to "Customise Keyboard" then set up your keys on your Keyboard. If your using a 3th Party Gamepad besides using Xbox 360 Controller or Logitech F710 Wireless Gamepad. Go to "Options" then go to "Customise Gamepad" then set up your buttons on your Gamepad.
The Codes
OK, Here are all the codes I just found all over the internet.

Konami Code (Fake Blue Screen of Death):
Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A,

Hedgehog Mode:
Up, Down, Left, Right, A,

Big Head Mode:
A, B, A, Y, A, B, B,

Super Mecha Death Pony 2000 BC Mode:
Up, Up, Up, Y, Y, Y, Up, Up,

Permanent Megascope:
Y, A, B, B, A, Down, A, B, B, A,

Then the last code is the one I'm not going to show you on this list. Because, it's one the must powerful code ever. The code was found in one of the AVGN Episode on the internet. I'm not telling you which episode you can find it. But, I want you to find it on your own. If you watched all AVGN Episodes. Then you all ready know the code. This code is your best friend. If you can't find the code. Then move down to the next section "Best Code EVER!!!".

OK, So you can't find the code (I was talking about). You watched all AVGN Episodes from Start to Finish on YouTube, Cinemassacre, GameTrailers, and ScrewAttack. But, you still can't find the code.

Just a post for anyone in future who is struggling with entering the codes. I can confirm that these codes still work as of 2025 (at lease the Hedgehog and Konami) as I just managed to unlock the achievement.

The trick is to be fast and precise as you enter them. You must use a gamepad. They must be entered as the game is starting up as the splash screens are show. When the 'start' screen comes up you have lost your window of time to enter them and must restart the game.

not sure if it's because it's been 9 years or what but none of these codes work anymore. I have entered them dozens of times but nothing works.

I would try any of the old nes and sega codes they might work . Plenty to try . Remember input the codes as quick as you can . Steady and fast . You may need to find the right controller with a good d pad , new ones can have soft d pad . Ps4 controller has a good d pad .

I have tried to input the codes before the title screen and during it and they aren't working. I heard somewhere here that they only work with a controller so I plugged in one and tested it out and got the same result. Can anyone help me here?
