Introduction
This guide covers finding the location of all 300 collectable "route tasks" on the three basic routes in TSW2 (that is, Sand Patch Grade, Schnellfahrstrecke Köln, and London Underground Bakerloo Line). This guide does NOT cover anything in Preserved Collection, nor any routes released for TSW2 after the original release.

For Preserved Collection guides, follow this link for the guides from when those routes originally released.



Note that even though this guide is posted on Steam, this can be used to complete the same achievements on PlayStation and XBOX systems!


The guide is divided into sections based on each route, then with the sections below that based on the nearest "Explore on foot" location, going from East to West. Note that only two routes' worth of tasks must be completed to get all the associated TSW2 achievements. Getting all of them in all routes has no achievement reward.
New to collecting?
For those who are new to Train Sim World and don't know what a "route task" is, they are various objects spread across the map. All are coded via a collectable system, which means that these objects must be "collected" by physically walking up to them. When close enough, an effect is triggered which activates the object and "completes the task" associated with it.

Generally, this means the object changes appearance in some way to make a completed task distinct from one which has not been completed. The type of task and appearance of the associated objects depends on the route, and this guide has a section for each route covering what every task looks like before and after completion so you know what to look for.

Beyond that, sections are divided into locations on the route that can be reached from the "Explore on foot" menu. Each of these sections contains pictures of each individual task in that area as well as a picture of the location of the task on the map. Hopefully, this provides enough context to find where the object of the task is. Once you find the object, walk towards it until an on-screen message like this pops up.

That message confirms you have completed the task (and that combined with the change in the appearance of the object should make this obvious) as well as confirming how many of that type of task have been completed already.

To see how many tasks are completed without needing to find a collectable, just look at the "Jobs" section on the route main menu.

This part of the menu allows you to track progress overall, as well as progress for each type of task. Note the special icons here. The guide sections for each route cover which task each icon refers to since it might not be clear at first glance. Be sure to check this menu before hunting, and don't waste time looking for tasks that you have already completed!

Beyond that, just make sure you follow the guide in order and grab every collectable object listed. If you miss any, it can be very hard to find which of the tasks you forgot, so it's best to complete them all in one shot.



Anyway, onto the actual guide. Look at the first section in the route to find out what's going on, then explore walking from the first listed location in the next section, and start navigating your way to each task!

Uncollected: Toppled over white pole with an orange tip. On top of a small pile of gravel with a green shovel next to it.
Collected: Vertical pole with no gravel pile or shovel nearby. (Note that there are some markers as scenery items which look exactly like the collected marker task.)
Common Locations: Near railroad crossings, often found near static non-collectable markers.

have trouble getting to guides for new DLC. Each time I click on link it brings me back to the TSW2 Masters of Skills Achievement Page. This does not happen Preserved Collection Guides

I was going through the German route and I missed a sign in Düren :P was gonna say you missed one but I checked another guide and found it and rechecked here I saw it was in the guide. About to do the underground collectibles next.
Sand patch (I think that's it name) was a loooooong one to do I hate it when they hide them halfway down a long track.
Because I had to start over when I upgraded from the PS4 I've been focusing just on the collectibles. I'd be lost without these guides.

Very helpful once again, just finished all of my preserved collection with your old guides, now to work through these ones too. Can I make a suggestion for future guides? Having each collectible numbered in order would be helpful for making sure none have been missed. Between spawning in at stations or such for example, having the guide say the next collectible is #24, and the collectible tracker on the menu saying we have 23/100, we’ll know we haven’t accidentally walked past a collectible while following the guide.

Thanks for the guide. For your information after yesterday´s patch the broken hard hat at Mance (SPG#14) can now be collected. The moved it a bit closer to the red machinery.
