Update BASS.ini

Open game folder

Right click "Beneath a Steel Sky" in the Steam Library's list view, go to the Manage menu, and select Browse local files.

Update BASS.ini

Open BASS.ini in Notepad.

Find the line that reads music_driver and change it to the following:

music_driver=windows

Restart the game and enjoy native Windows MIDI.
