When playing on custom dedicated servers, on those modified by various plugins,
they can leave behind files, and that from many servers, which can accumulate
a decent amount of data over the years. And at best, this section is worth cleaning regularly.
The contents of this folder should be completely cleaned up. Deleting this data will not affect
the performance of the game in any way, except, perhaps, only for the better.

As advice, let me tell you that you can fully turn off "Сustom files from server"
in the "Multiplayer" settings, because if this option is enabled,
the game will accumulate more not very necessary files(such a custom modifications)
into your "downloads" folder of the game itself.

This folder contains all the sprays used by the players (and by you) that you have ever seen
in the game in vpk format. Therefore, you can delete the entire contents of this folder
with a pure heart. If suddenly you are not interested in a specific spray, of some other player,
seen in the game.

"An update of 04.10.2021 contain a change that clears temp directories when you exit the game. This will delete any spray files that have been downloaded from other players during the session. If you're really attached to your spray collection and you do not want your temp files
to be deleted, then you can set "l4d_delete_temp_files 0"
to Launch Options in Properties of the game to disable it."

This folder contains all the sprays you have uploaded into the game.
It is quite logical that all the sprays you previously used can be deleted from it:

1) From the main logos folder, leaving only the default spray files in it intact
(shown below in image "(1)");

2) From the custom folder, leaving only 2 files of your current spray in it intact
(in vmt and vtf formats);

3) From the UI folder, in which you should leave intact 1 file of your current spray,
which in vmt format, among other default spray files in the same vmt format in that folder,
also leaving them intact
(shown below in image "(3)").

Вполне логично, что все ранее использованные вами спреи можно из неё удалить:

1) Из главной папки logos, оставляя нетронутыми файлы стандартных спреев в ней

If this happened often, they can accumulate a decent amount.

This folder contains the original screenshots taken in the game in tga format
(each takes ~5 MB of disk space). But with one caveat,
all these screenshots are duplicated to another folder in the Steam client, but in jpg format.
So, if you wish, you can delete all screenshots from this folder if you don't need the sources
and the compressed screenshots in jpg format are quite enough for you.

В этой папке находятся оригинальные скриншоты, сделанные в игре в формате tga
(каждый занимает ~5 МБ дискового пространства). Но с одной оговоркой, все эти скриншоты дублируются в другую папку в клиенте Steam, но уже в формате jpg. Так что, по желанию,
вы можете удалить все скриншоты с этой папки, если вам не нужны исходники
и вам вполне хватает сжатых скриншотов в формате jpg.
