This section deals with achievements you can unlock simply by playing the game. They are pretty self explanatory, but I will include extra descriptions if things can be a little unclear.


Completionist - Complete the game
This achievement is self-explanatory - it will pop when you complete the game.

Your Lessons Are Over - Complete all tutorials
You can't miss this one - When the opening cinematics have completed, do what it says on screen. After you complete the tasks, you head toward Union City and the achievement will pop.

Cleanliness Is Next To Joeyness - Clean everything up, ready for the party
This one is part of the story - When you reach the aspiration platform, you will need to clean things up to get officer Orana's attention. To do this, click on the piles of leaves and get Joey to clean them up. Turn the sprinklers off and lure the Gang Gang with a Mini-K. Throw the Mini-K at the tree in the centre, which will make the extermination bot try to chase after the Gang Gang. Turn the sprinklers back on to make the extermination bot spark and catch the bunting hanging in the tree. Finally, get Joey to suck up the bunting, causing him to get the bunting caught in his brushes and the achievement to pop.

Infiltrator - Enter the main gates
This one is part of the story - You will need to get Wendell's truck going again as the gate needs a vehicle to get past. Unfortunately, it has a flat battery so you will need to get a battery from something else (a droid across the bridge). Hack the bridge controls with your MINOS hacker (swap the options around to let anyone activate the bridge). Then cross over, and stand between the conveyor belt and the vent. Hack both and swap the options to make the conveyor move faster. Now wait for the robot to go up to the conveyor and get picked up by the magnet, then you can get his battery. Once you cross back over and put the battery into Wendell's truck, talk to him to leave and the achievement will be granted to you.

Interview Jeopardy - Complete the Alonso interview
Story related - cannot miss it. Answer his questions correctly.

Question about which ministry you work for: Comfort
Question about where you work: Land Train
Question about hobbies: Photography
Question about Qdos rating: B
Question about body part: heart

Reunited With An Old Friend - Liberate Joey from the Museum of New History
Story related - cannot miss it. After releasing the rat from the old fridge, everyone will be evacuated. Use the crowbar on the Joey exhibit to get the Joey board then use it in the old cleaning robot shell, feelings of nostalgia will overwhelm you (if you played the original game) and the achievement will pop.

Lax Safety - Obtain a waiver from Orana
Story related - cannot miss it. After completing "Cleanliness is next to Joeyness" talk to Orana about the recycling centre and this achievement will pop.

Knockout - Neutralise Jimmy
Story related - cannot miss it. When he has you trapped in the finger device, hit him with the bottle when you get control.

Tha Man Behind The Iron Furnace - Enter the secret room behind the fire
Story related - cannot miss it. To get rid of the fire, go up the stairs and exit the building. Keep going forward on the gantry then go up the stairs at the end of the gantry. Climb up the ladder, then use the cleaver on the tether holding the Anchor sign. This will cause the sign to fall and break the pipe. Climb back down the ladder, go forward on the gantry, use the crowbar on the box and switch off the light. Finally, put the plastic explosive into the light fixture and turn the light back on. This will cause an explosion, and a cutscene showing the fire escaping from the furnace. Go back into the furnace area and climb up the ladder to get the achievement.

Crystal Clear - Read the secret message
Story related - cannot miss it.

Party Party - Earn a party invite
Story related - cannot miss it.

Hidden Trouble - Got caught spying
Story related - cannot miss it.

Joey Time - Free Foster
Story related - cannot miss it. Once you have control of Joey, you need to get rid of the patrolling android. Go to the console in the centre of the main room and turn off an empty pod in area 5. Then, quickly head there, and fly around to the back of it and press the button. The android will come to investigate, and then when you can, push him which will cause him to fall to his "death". A cutscene will play, Orana will come down the stairs and the achievement will pop.

Freedom! Orana can free the children
Story related - cannot miss it. Happens after you regain control of Foster.

Equality For All - Set everyone's Qdos level to infinity
Story related - cannot miss it. There is a hint for this puzzle on the whiteboard at Leet's hideout (yellow post-it note). When in MINOS space for the second time, view the recording of Leet. Then, find the divide operator and the 0, and take them. Then, find the plinth that has "everyone" (If you are unsure, get Foster to read the CITIZEN TYPE plaques) and place the divide and 0 on there to grant everyone infinite Qdos, and granting you the achievement.

Time To Get Outta Here - Open the main gates to allow Wendell to leave with the kids
Story related - cannot miss it. Once you have dealt with Alonso, move the window shades to the open position. Then, use your MINOS hacker to scan the satellite dish and the toaster, and switch the options around. This will cause the Land train to open the main gate, giving you the achievement.

A Meeting Of Minds - Confront the Council in the Citadel
Story related - cannot miss it. Once you have reached the Citadel with Orana, head forward and walk towards the old cleaning droid shell that is overlooking the city. The achievement will pop when you meet the Council.

Snuffing Out The Light - Destroy everything that Joey created
Story related - cannot miss it. Complete the final puzzle and this achievement will pop.

This section will deal with the missable achievements.

Brain The Size Of A Planet - Complete the game without using any hints
This one is self-explanatory - just make sure throughout your playthrough do not click the "Hint" button in the menu.

Hunger Games - Feed Voxel a stolen sandwich
This one is completely missable toward the start of the game - once you have Graham's ID on your U-Chip, you are able to enter Hobbsworth's shed/office (in order to get the MINOS hacker). While inside here, grab the sandwich on the desk, then go back to Voxel's hiding place (in the garden, turn left out of the shed and walk down the path - he is inside a drain-looking area - if you can't interract with him, talk to Pixel about Monsters and Voxel after pushing him on the turntable) and give him the sandiwch, causing the achievement to pop.

Water The Plants - Turn the sprinklers on
This one is missable - you need to interact with all of the sprinklers in the game I believe, the sprinkler on the Aspiration platform (which is story related anyway) and the ones at Graham's apartment area. The first time you get to Graham's apartment area, after you depart the monopod there will be a hand scanner to the right on the wall of the building. Open the box and interact with the hand scanner to turn on the sprinklers. Then later in the game, interact with the sprinklers at the Aspiration platform and the achievement will pop.

Wash Pin Bowling - Knock Chipworth over
This achievement involves hacking the water levels at the laundry machine at Graham's apartment building - doing that and asking Chipworth to do the laundry will grant you this achievement (Many thanks to MackNNations on the Revolution Discord channel for information on this one)

The Zen Of Screaming - Set the Kids' Exhibit to speak 'Aggressively'
You are required to get Joey's arm to act aggressively in order to get the brooch so this is story related but is missable so be careful! Stand between the entrance to the bathroom and the kid's exhibit, wait for the cleaning bot to come out of the bathroom to refill then activate the hacker and get the 'Aggressively' tile and swap it with what is in the Kid's exhibit, apply the hack and then use the hand scanner in front of the kids exhibit and the achievement will pop.

History Lesson - Learn the full story of Joey the Saviour
This one is completely missable in the first museum section - There are five podiums in the central part of the museum with a hand scanner in front of them - simply interact with each of them to earn this achievement (I did them in order from 1 to 5 but not sure if this is necessary, as long as you interact with each of them at least once)

A Fishy Tail - Porpoisefully fail Jimmy's scary moment
This one is missable - at the recycling centre, speak to Leet,who turns out to be Jimmy the Thumbs and get his moonshine in exchange for him giving you information about Graham and looking at your U-Chip. After completing the moonshine puzzle, go back to Leet and give him the bottle automatically, then place your hand in the device on his desk and he will trap you. When you regain control, grab the fish and this will cause the achievement to pop. You will die but you will restart at that same moment so no need to restore a previous game!

Poetry Slam - Watch a full poetry recital
This one is missable - When at the Aspiration Gala on the gantries high above the festivities, when you are following the mysterious figure, you can see the poetry stage. Interact with it and choose to watch the performance. After a lengthy hilarious cutscene, the achievement will be given to you.

Classic Threads - Unlock Foster's classic coat
This one requires you to have the encrypted data (in the safe) from LINCSpace. Once you have reached MINOS Space, instead of using the navigator ship wheel, use the disk-like image to the left of it (converter.exe) and use the encrypted data with it. This will cause the achievement to pop (and give you Foster's classic coat as a dress option back at Graham's apartment for the Aspiration Day gala!)

Rational Or Just Crazy? - Examine all of Graham's conspiracy posters
This one is missable but can be achieved in the one area - simply go to Graham's room in the apartment and look at all of the posters on the wall (This does not include the poster on the back of Graham's door for the Movie Buff achievement)

Ultimate Collector - Transfer all the holo-trinkets to your brooch
After receiving the brooch from Cecily, go right outside the museum to the holo-trinket vendor and ask him to transfer each image to the brooch (Citadel, Joey and Spankles Clown). After you have done all three it will pop the achievement.

Two Faced - Witness both Songbird's endings
If Rob aces Alonso’s interview and returns Bartleby to Songbird, she allies with Rob. If you flub Alonso’s interview questions, affecting her Qdos or fail to return Bartleby, she allies with Alonso. (Note: when Songbird is sitting at the computer, you cannot give her Bartleby, I gave him to her when she was standing outside.) Play the game twice doing each of these things will grant you the achievement.

Movie Buff - Discover all five movie posters
This achievement is missable - there is a very handy guide by MotherofSephy for finding all five, located here. Note they do not carry over multiple play throughs (IE you can't finish the game and then get the ones you missed, it has to be in the same playthrough)
