This is how to set your windows paging file so that windows does not control YOU:

Type sysdm.cpl in your start menu,
Press enter
Go to advanced,
Click performance,
Go To Advanced,
Click Change,
Turn off the automatically configure,...

Set custom size on your solid state drive, [windows drive preferably, and make sure you have space available for this!]
For 8 GB RAM<
Minimum 8192MB
Max 12378MB
For 16GB RAM<
Min: 12894MB
Max 16894MB
For 32GB RAM<
Min: 16894MB
Max; 22000 MB
Click ok.
Apply.
Restart windows.
Try again.,

I believe your right about my RAM covering it, TTV/1MantisPhoenix/∞. 32GB should. And with a 1TB SSD, I've got around a 32GB paging file.
That wouldn't be "too" big of a paging file? Would it?

p.s. RDR2 needed a 4GB setup. That's a properly optimized game. Your RAM should still do the basic work wdb-wookie1

That's for a 16GB physical RAM setup -
You can double, as per your installer amount,
Or set to 1.5x the installed amount, however, this is dependent on free HDD / SSD /NVMe space then
