XPMod Server Basics

A simple introduction to those who are interested in the XPMod servers that are currently in testing. Some stuff may change overtime, be inaccurate, or be unknown to me but known to others.

What is XPMod?


XPMod is a server that uses XP obviously, the XP automatically levels up your stats of what you use, and can use that XP to also have a load-out.
When loading to the server, type !xpm into chat so you can start logging in and collecting XP. If you're new, also do !xpm just to find out what classes are and what they do (But you can also read it here)

XPMod Adds RPG Elements to Left 4 Dead 2
This is not a typical mod. its complex with a lot of depth that can take time to master.
Those that choose to play XPMod will encounter unqiue challenges and be rewarded with intense gameplay.

  • Hunter Killer:
    +25 Poison Damage when shooting Special,

    Rage: +4 Speed per level, +20 Melee Damage per level, Health Regeneration. 60 Second cooldown of this ability.
    During cooldown: Cannot regen or speed up.

  • Wrecking Ball. Crouch Skill:
    Melee Damage Bonus, +100 Melee DMG per level. +10 Max HP per Level.
    On SI Headshot with Melee while in Wrecking Ball mode: Wrecking Ball instantly recharges. +1 HP Regen every 0.75 seconds.

  • Spray n' Pray:
    +2 Shotgun Clip Size per Level, +2 Shotgun pellet damage per level.

  • Homerun!:
    On Special Headshot with a melee, +5 Speed per level for 10 seconds.
    No Melee Fatigue,

  • Hallucinogenic Nightmare:
    -0.5 Spit cooldown per level. Hold crouch to Phase Shift (Stealth & Speed).
    Claws can drug victims, causing hallucinations.



  • Goo Type's :
    Press [SHIFT] to change goo's
    1) [Level 6] Flaming Goo: Fire can cover your spit, press [WALK] to change your spit type
    2) [Level 6] Melting Goo: +2 Spit DMG, DMG converts health to temp health.
    3) [Level 6] Demi Goo: Triples victims gravity and restricts mobility talents.
    4) [Level 6] Repulsion Goo: Bounces victims in 1/9 Directions
    5) [Level 6] Viral Goo: Infects victims with a contagious virus

    [HOLD CROUCH] to charge Uppercut.
    [Uppercut]: On next melee, throw survivors up in the air who will receive 5 fall dmg and a short stun


  • Hillbilly Madness!:
    +35 Max HP per Level,
    +3% Movement speed/Carry Range per level.
    -1 Second charge cooldown every other level.
    On Successful grapple until charge ends:
    Invincibility: +5% of dmg taken is converted to Health per level.

TANKS

  • [ICE TANK]
    16000 HP.
    /Great at Mid and Far Ranges / Good in Close Range
    Fire deals more damage but only very little afterburn time.
    Cold Aura: Slows Survivors on Punch
    33% Chance to freeze survivors with a punch.

    [Active Abilities]
    Regenerates HP while [CROUCHING AND NOT MOVING], 5sec to activate
    This Creates a Blizzard.
    Survivors inside the blizzard are frozen.
    Rocks Throws have a 100% chance to freeze if they hit survivor. (No Throw or Freeze CD)

  • [FIRE TANK]
    11000 HP,
    / Great at Close Range / Good in mid Range / Poor in Far Range
    High DMG and Immune to Fire.
    HP Scale increases speed (Lower = Faster) from 25% to 50%.
    +20% Chance to ignite survivor on punch.
