Description
Weapon Script for Tööttieläin's OA-93 (MP5): https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=957674789.

Matching HUD icon here: https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2365850268.

*Note 1: This weapon script is for the *original* OA-93 mod, that was built left-handed. This script therefore flips it to be right handed. This means, however, that if you are subscribed to the alternate "left hand fix" OA-93 on the workshop, it will in turn flip that fix, and you will end up back with the left handed version. So in summary, if you're using this script, use the *original* model, linked above. Also, the left hand fix forces the original MP5 HUD Icon, so you shouldn't use that one if you want to use custom HUD icons, either.

**Note 2: I had to take some liberties with this weapon's script. I could find specifications on ammo caliber, effective range, barrel length, and weapon weight, but info on rate of fire (apparently there were some select-fire models) and recoil, etc. is slim. So I based some stats off of the AR/M4 platform. Consider it a mixed 5.56x45mm pistol/assault rifle/submachine gun.

Modified weapon stats are in the picture. Find up-to-date stats on all scripts in this convenient Google Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hn2ELPDXtpCPwgMsQv3zrGIPY_5OIn9e2kmqb7CEfgI/

*** About Weapon Scripts ***
Scripts aim to match as close to real world specs as feasible. Exotic weapons (like those from other games) may have some liberties taken.

Adjustments include weight, recoil/spread, magazine size, rate of fire, effective range/falloff range, AI preference, and penetration depth/stats.

Damage, rate of fire, and player movement speed may be adjusted up or down.

To keep in line with vanilla gameplay and prevent OP, damage is adjusted accordingly:
  • Damage adjusted up/down (typically up) when needed to keep in tune with the original game stats.
  • Damage per magazine is favored over DPS, since rate of fire changes make DPS incomparable to vanilla.
IE: Silenced Uzi has 50 round/mag at X damage. When magazine capacity is lowered to match the Honey Badger's, damage is adjusted up to match the vanilla's damage per *magazine* as Honey Badger's rate of fire adjustment against vanilla makes DPS comparisons invalid.

Please report any issues on my profile page. Thanks!
