Introduction
This is going to be a really quick guide on customizing your bomb for CS:GO Terrorists to plant. At the time this guide was written, there were not many options available, so it will be a short read. If changes are made in the future that give us more options, I may update this guide to go over the changes.

Guide written prior to Counter Strike 2...

Skinning your Bomb
This section is inspired by actual competitive game play.

Skinning your bomb takes some luck...

... ha, ha I'm just messing with ya!

You can't skin your bomb.

At least, not at the time of publication for this guide.

However, I can tell you there is an in game bug or glitch that could possibly show you a gun skin that you own on the bomb. If you can recreate it, and get a screenshot of it, let me know!

When I was playing during a competitive match, I went to plant the bomb at the end of the round for extra money (not sure if that is still a thing but I am still in the habit of doing so) and the plant was cut off by the timer. When I started the next round, I was still holding the bomb, but instead of it's normal appearance it showed the skin of the last weapon I was holding. This happened to be my AK47, which has the Orbit Mk01 skin.

This is a screenshot of my Orbit Mk01, which had been renamed.

You can see the similarities in the skins in the above screenshots. When I saw the glitch, I tilted my head in disbeleif, pressed f12 for proof, and re-bought armor and utilities.

Then the glitch was gone...

Bomb Skins
So as previously stated, bomb skins are not currently a thing. At least not officially.

With the increasing ways that Valve has come up with for making money on micro-transactions, maybe it should be! Is it something that has been discussed? Is it something the players would want? I certainly wouldn't mind seeing some variety on the bombs I am setting or defusing in game.

Maybe you have seen this topic before, maybe not. If you've seen it here first, or you simply like the idea, please rate this guide up to get it some attention by both Valve and their players.
Naming your Bomb
This is something that isn't seen very often... name tags on bombs. Naming your bomb is currently the only way you can customize your bomb in game. When I first saw this done, I quickly decided I just had to do it. I mean, why not?

This is a cropped screenshot of the CS:GO Store on the main menu.

Certainly the couple bucks (depending on your region) that would go towards the name tag could go towards more practical things, like a cup of coffee or something. However, the laughter you hear on comms when someone reads the name of your bomb are worth the scratch, at least in my opinion.

It's all about having fun in the game!
Big Bada Boom!
The coolest name I've seen on a bomb yet, is on the one in my inventory. "Big Bada Boom!" Obviously a reference to "The Fifth Element" movie, a must watch if you have not seen it.

CS:GO Guide Index
Previously, I listed the many CS:GO related guides I had created here. For simplicity, I have since opted to create what I call a CS:GO Guide Index. This is essentially another guide that points to the CS:GO guides I have created. If you like any of my other guides, please feel free to rate them up!
