Fixing the game without downloading cheeki breeki

This guide will tell you how to fix the game so it can run on Windows 8, 8.1 and 10 without needing to download and install any of the shady cheeki breeki other people tell you to.

Finding the configuration file
Navigate to your library and find the game.
Open Properties and go to the Local Files tab.
Click Browse to find the installation directory.
In it you will find a program called config.exe
Run it.

Configuring the game
In the configuration file, you will find lots of cheeki breeki to tweak to your heart's content.



As far as I can tell, only two settings matter, so feel free to blin around with the options.
Just make sure that the box Enable music is NOT ticked (like shown above), and the Resolution is NOT 1600x1200 (unlike shown above).
When you are happy with the other settings, hit OK.

Congratulations: you can now launch the game without downloading or installing any suspicious cheeki breeki!
