Introduction
I went looking for a weapon to apply a sticker on in CS:GO and I took a hard look at the revolver because I was curious if a sticker would actually apply to the cylinder as it was a moving part. Looking into this sparked the idea for this guide, because it really is a neat trick and I am certain that not too many people actually know how the stickers work on them.

Sticker Roulette
I'm sure you have all heard the term Russian Roulette at some point in your life, as Hollywood loves throwing that cliche into a lot of action and drama flicks. Anyway, if you haven't, Russian Roulette is a term used for tormenting a person with 1 bullet loaded into the cylinder of a revolver. The cylinder is spun and when the tormentor points the revolver at his victim, the victim won't know if the firing of the weapon will actually result in the discharge of the bullet, which is pointed right at them.

I called this guide Sticker Roulette because the stickers in Counter Strike: Global Offensive can be applied to the revolver in game right on the cylinder of the weapon. Not only can they be applied to the cylinder, they can actually be placed on either side of the cylinder. Since the cylinder of the revolver actually spins like a real revolver in game, you will see the sticker spin around in the weapon kinda like the symbols on a slot machine. That's simply fun to watch.

This screenshot shows the Incinerator sticker on a Factory New Reboot revolver.

I applied an Incinerator Sticker to a Factory New Reboot revolver and went into a few game modes to play with it casually. The sticker can land in different positions depending on which firing mode you use (right click or left click) and which sticker placement you started with. Once again, stickers can be applied to either side, so the sticker would either be visible, partially visible, or not visible after each discharge.

Applying to Sticker Locations
Ok, so there are 5 sticker positions on the revolver. Four of them are on the left side of the gun, and the fifth is on the right side cylinder. This many locations is different from any other gun in game.

Don't get too excited though, because you can only place 1 sticker on the cylinder. This limitation is likely due to the fact that all other guns can only have 4 stickers attached, so when you apply a sticker on one side of the revolver, it takes away the ability to place a sticker on the other side of the cylinder.

This means that although only one sticker can be placed on the cylinder, you get to choose which side it starts on. Think of this as the starting position. To illustrate the starting locations, the screenshots below show all 5 locations on the revolver.

This shows the first sticker location on the revolver.

This shows the second sticker location on the revolver.

This shows the third sticker location on the revolver.

This shows the fourth sticker location on the revolver.

This shows the fifth sticker location on the revolver.

So when it comes to the third and fifth sticker locations, you need to pick one side for a sticker. It will only let you place one sticker on the cylinder, and a maximum of four stickers on the gun.

CS:GO Guide Index
Previously, I listed the many CS:GO related guides I had created here. For simplicity, I have since opted to create what I call a CS:GO Guide Index. This is essentially another guide that points to the CS:GO guides I have created. If you like any of my other guides, please feel free to rate them up!

Steam Awards
Thanks for the Steam Awards!

I have been creating guides for the Steam Community for a few years now, long before Steam Awards were a thing. I love creating content for the games I play. In 2020, Valve decided to reward players that create content with the points shop system.

The Steam points are very appreciated, and certainly encourages me to create more content for the gaming community. I even spent a few of the points to give more space for Steam guides on my profile. This lets me present up to seven of them on my profile at once. If you want to see what else I've created, you should check out the Other Published Steam Guides section of this guide!
