Symbiotic Love is the prequel to Melancholy Love, which is currently available on Steam. Although it isn’t necessary to have played Melancholy Love first, it makes a few references to characters from Symbiotic Love.

With that in mind, I wrote up this working walkthrough for all five endings of Symbiotic Love as I beta tested. Please note that any similarities to other walkthroughs are purely coincidental, as this one is based on my personal experience going through the visual novel.

Here, I am going to note all of the possible choices that are presented throughout the story. Suffice it to say that this walkthrough does contain spoilers and I won’t put them in spoiler text (unless it has to do with story events). Thus, if you’re having trouble getting a particular ending or whatnot, then go to the appropriate ending section to see the choices you should make to get it.

Now, here are all the possible choices presented. If I put “x (positive)” next to a choice, it should be obvious that means it is the correct/favorable choice for the character affected.

You get this ending if you have Jisuo make all the correct (positive) choices and have Zihua make all the wrong (negative) choices. This is the ending in which Zihua ends up succumbing to Juliet’s fate from Romeo and Juliet, and we all know what happens.

If you have Jisuo make all the wrong (negative) choices and Zihua make all the correct (positive) choices, then you’ll get this ending. This is where Zihua confronts her mother and goes somewhat crazy.

Finally, this is the ending in which the choices are really random. In short, you need a good balance between correct (positive) and wrong (negative) choices, regardless of who makes them. There may be more than one way to get this ending, but the following is what I chose. Also, this is the ending where Zihua ends up becoming Jisuo.

In short, if you follow this walkthrough, you should be able to get all five endings for Symbiotic Love. Steam achievements have now been added, so you should be able to get them as well. Hopefully, this walkthrough explains how to get all of the endings, achievements, and CGs and is useful. Feel free to leave a comment if I’ve missed anything.
