What kind of bars should I choose?
When it comes to choosing your bars, it's really simple. Go to the sheet linked in the "Spreadsheet" section, and look at "All Stats". Here you can find the profession stat youre trying to make and see what stats boost what professions, and what stats debuff's it. Then all you have to do is choose the bar that has the least amount of debuff, but the most amount of boosts possible. For example, take mining. Iron is a really great bar since the debuff for the profession is "Preciousness", and iron only has 1 point in it, while it has 25 points in hardness and 9 points in weight. To get the best pickaxe, get the most hardness and weight, while keeping the preciousness low.

Wich parts should I choose?
Also pretty simple.

The parts take the bar/bone used for crafting it, and boosts it.

All stats are displayed on my spreadsheet in section 1

The Tools are too Complicated
How do you know what blade you want and spear head?

Well, for starters you need to consider what materials you have available, in order for you to pump out the best of the best you can.

But in general, when you have Orichalcum, you can pump out some pretty crazy swords.
If you want the weapon, that does the most DPS possible, a great rule of thumb would be to add Damage with speed. If you take a look at the melee stats.

It very clearly tells you what stats makes the damage output better, and what determines the speed you can swing it. All you need to do is balance it, a great way to balance the sword is to make bones hilts with either runic or burnished demon bone. Since the demon bone has a stat of 50 preciousness, and a burnished bone adds 800%preciousness, and preciousness is a boost for swingspeed on weapons, you can end up with some insane builds. Especially if you get a mythical, wich adds +80 to all stats :)

Thanks for reading
I jsut thought that I would put this in here in case some out there are struggling with what to do, and what it all means.

Let me know if there is something you are still unclear on, and I will try my best to put you on the right track towards a optimal colony.

Remember everyone, the more preciousness, the more you can sell it for ;) (Mara gems)

@XyPeZ I tried to add you. Would love to get on a call on discord with you and go over all this stuff. Honestly its confusing for me :D

I noticed a bug in the game with Runic Bones. Preciousness is always exactly 28 higher and Weight is always exactly 11.9 higher than the bonuses in the game would suggest. This then gets multiplied when making handles and hilts. Mainly putting this here for future guide users as I don't expect further updates to occur which would address it.

I did tho? All the green means good, and red means bad :D I even said "Take mininng for an example". All you need to do is look at the skill youre going for. I made it so you can easily see what stats to go for in each profession. Then all you gotta do is pick the bar that boosts the green the most while not having the red traits too high. Then you have to do the same for parts. Then combine and woila, best tool in the game

I liked the idea, but for me was a bit confuse. Maybe you should suggest an optimized materials for the tools, as an example.

x level stat determines how difficult it is for the swarves to make it, and how much exp they get from making the item. So if you leveling dwarves it might be worth queing a bunch of copper, but difficult parts up and make them into a finished product to sell. Just to get them there quicker. Then swith it out with the intended product, wether its rings or tools

One thing I still don't understand, how does the + Level stat work on the item parts? Some parts have more, some have less. Does it matter? Does it impact anything?

BTW Hauling is preciousness + resilience - weight.
Still updating my guide with all bonuses factored in, but nearly done lol.
