Introduction
Hello everyone. I want to tell you about the SteaScree program, which allows you to upload screenshots to steam, screenshots that you can change or any other picture at all!

That is, if you want the screenshot to look different, for example, add some filters or even radically change it, then this program is for you

Maybe you've seen screenshots that are not typical of the game or with unnatural properties, like cropping an image and so on. These are the modified images. Here is an example:

https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2028097393
The upper and lower parts of the screenshot are cropped so that the interface is not visible, the sight in the middle was also smeared and all this was done in Photoshop, and the program allowed uploading the screenshot to Steam

SteaScree will be useful to you if you want to refine your screenshot before putting it on display. Otherwise, some games do not have the ability to take screenshots at all, since they do not have a Steam overlay. Such as:
Besides them, there are other games that do not support steam overlay, then in combination with another screenshot program, you can still upload a screenshot from the game to Steam

If you want to do the same, somehow embellish your screenshot and upload it again, or just adapt the screenshot for Steam? Then I'll show you and tell you how to do it

The guide is a kind of improvement on the original guide, if you don't understand the meaning a little bit, you can take a slightly different look at the story about the program don't forget to like

Program
The SteaScree program will allow us to upload a screenshot to any game. It is noteworthy that the program is available for all popular operating systems. Follow the link below, download and install

With the exception of the picture in the middle, the program interface looks like this:

  1. The path to the "userdata" folder in the Steam directory. It is determined by default if steam is running

  2. Your profile. If there were more accounts on the computer, then they will all be displayed, and sometimes nothing will be displayed at all (the solution to the problem is described below)

  3. Select the game to which the new screenshot will be uploaded. Not all games are displayed in the list, especially those that you have recently started playing, so it is enough to enter the ID of the game that you need to determine (the definition and finding of the game is also described below)

  4. The quality of the uploaded material. A completely unnecessary button, but if you want to experiment, then please (the button is provided for if you have a large file size, but even if you download the original JPG, then in Steam itself you will see an even more compressed version of your work)

  5. Here is a list of screenshots that you have selected to upload. You can sort them by name, addition and file path

  6. The button for adding screenshots, click and select. You can also simply drag and drop the files you need into the middle of the program.

  7. Start copying screenshots

  8. Adapting and uploading screenshots

  9. Deleting screenshots for uploading. It is needed if you have uploaded too much or are preparing screenshots for another game to download
The interface is intuitive, as are the pop-up notifications when you're almost done. Now I will tell you how to find your profile if the program does not see it and how to find the Game ID. About how to use the program in the next section

There are two problems - the profile ID or the game ID, but for each initially you need to enable the display of links in Steam, if you do it through the browser, then skip this step

To enable the display of links, go to the settings (top right) and in the "Interface" tab, check the box next to "Display Steam URL ..."

If your profile is not displayed

Open your profile and copy the characters "/id/" and open the site steamrep[steamrep.com] then paste the copied characters and search

Find the line "Steam3id" below the avatar and copy the numbers after "U:1:", then insert the program, after which you can restart it

Finding the Game ID

Open your game in the library and then open the game page in the store. In the link after /app/ there will be numbers, which are the ID of the game you need. Copy it and paste it into the program, prematurely removing the extra text from the line

How do I upload screenshots?

  • Select the desired game in the "Game ID" (3)
  • Click on "Add screenshots to queue..." and select the desired images (6)
  • Click on "Copy screenshots to game directory" (7)
  • Turn off Steam and click on "Prepare screenshots for uploading..." (8)
After that, restart steam and upload a screenshot directly for the visibility of Steam users
