Hello everyone! Today I will show you how to install mods for this game.
1. Go to the site https://www.moddb.com/games/avp2010/addons and download any mod you like.
2. Go to the game folder, in my case it is D/Program files/Steam/steamapps/common/aliens vs predator. Yours may be different.
3. Go to the Misc folder, then drag the downloaded mod to the Misc folder.
4. Open the common file with the lst extension using notepad.
5. Next, you need to go down and enter Misc\mod name. Here is an example Misc\Wolfvision.ru That's it. Please note that if you have the Russian version of the game, the extension should be "ru", as written in the example. If you have the English version of the game, the file should be "en". By default, all mods come with the "en" extension. To change the extension to "ru" you need to open the mod via WinRAR and change the extension.
6. Then, as you entered the name of the mod in common.lst, be sure to save!
7. Go into the game and the mods work. Mods work both in the story campaign and in multiplayer. You can also install as many mods as you want. I have about 30 mods in use. And this does not break the game in any way and does not affect the performance in the game itself. FPS does not drop because of mods, I checked.
