About this guide
A simple guide to the nine achievements available in this game.
Achievements
They Come - Interact with 15 Runic Stones.

Summon and follow the wisp, which will guide you to the stones and memories, and keep track of the stones you've activated.

You should be able to unlock this in the Prologue part 1, as the Prologue has 15 stones. They can be found in either part of the Prologue, as both parts are set in the same place. However, finding them in the first part of the prologue will be rather easier, so is recommended.

Finding a stone will spawn a new wisp, so they are effectively "free" to find.

They Are All Here - Interact with 90 Runic Stones.

The developer said about this achievement:

The Prologue has 15 stones, and each Act has another 15: you will need every single one of them for this achievement, so don't leave any level before finding all 15, even if the wisps are guiding you to the "end the level by howling" point.

Should unlock in Act V, the final act, if you have missed no stones on the way. For me, it unlocked at 14/15 of the stones in Act V, so you may be able to miss ONE stone... but don't rely on that as it was likely to have just been a glitch, one stone counting twice for me for some reason.

A Memorable Place - Visit the top of the Falls

Should trigger in Prologue part 1, within your first few minutes of play, as you follow the first wisp up to the top of the falls.

Unlike the other achievements, this one doesn't explicitly say what act it can be gained in, but it should be impossible to miss, so this shouldn't cause any problems.

They Know - Prologue Part II: The Family sees you.

In part 2 of the prologue, there's a moment at the end where they are escaping, and you can become corporeal. Do so, and they should see you.

So Refreshing - Act I: Witness the children swimming.

Go downriver to the lake, and go down to the farthest end of the lake from the river. You should see the children swimming.

If you don't (and I've seen no reports of this, but it's advice in general for if a memory doesn't trigger), then saving, quitting, and reloading may help.

Is Anyone There? - Act II: Witness the Father checking if anyone is home.

Find the point on the road where they entered. From the start, the first fork off to the right ends in a house, at which this animation should play.

It Cowers - Act III: Vanquish a creature from within the nightmare.

This one can be tricky, as you may only get the ability to dash-attack the foe in a different memory to the nightmare one (or maybe you get it at the tree? I forget!)

You must also ensure that you use the dash-attach combo (e to dash, mouseclick to attack while dashing), and that you have "ammo" for the attack, which you can get at the magical-animal-tree in return for essence (it fills up to 50, at a cost of 1 "ammo" for 1 essence).

Make sure before entering each light-beam memory that you remember where it is, and how to get to it, since the nightmare one teleports you on completion to a different location, and you are likely to need to revisit it and retry it, in order to get this achievement, especially if the first time you don't have the dash-attack ability and ammo.

Sadly, there is no difference in the outcome of the memory whether you slay all the bad guys or not.

They Rest - Act IV: Witness the family resting during their travels.

Again, find the road that the family are travelling along, which runs along the bank of the lake for a while. The first and second branches to the left when walking away from the lake should both end at a rest point, where there are three small buildings and the mother and father are sat by a campfire, as the children approach from either side.

The achievement did not trigger for me the first time I saw it - going back to this level after completing the game and revisiting this spot, caused it to trigger. Reloading the game may also cause it to trigger.

It Is Done - Act V: End it.

You need to nothing special here, as it triggers by reaching the endgame.

REALLY great guide, however just one note for anyone who get's a little confused like I did:

-For the 'It Cowers' achievement you need to attack ONE of the monsters that surround the girl in her nightmare, not defeat the creature in the last memory. I didn't get the require power until just before the last memory, so assumed it was that boss type monster being defeated for the achievement. But no, it's just required that you attack one of the many monsters in the girls nightmare before she teleports you into a camp with her mother. For some reason it took me a while to realise this.

Also, additionally, if you miss any achievement (I think besides the 90 runic stones one) you can go back in casual play mode and get it there, which is what I did for the one I just talked about.

Great guide, thank you! :howl::steamthis::steamthumbsup:
