Nice guide! We don't have to suffer unintended broken design of campaign.
As some people says, even on latest version, all missions are still solvable with more dense control and some different strategy. Still, why not play that hardcore version of it after we have some fun with original balancing? ;)

oh and another thing, make LOTS of apcs. Stuff them with infantry so they can tackle on tanks or infantry effectively (depending on the infantry ofc), in general do not underestimate light vehicles. i'd dare to say you need half of your army to be APCs, at least in the start. Even Predators are good as they soak up damage instead of Mammoths (which arent as tanky as they look). You can make juggernaughts to snipe buildings but good luck defending them. Anyway it's either juggernaughts or (lots of) airplanes, you can snipe SAM batteries one by one with them (the opponent will try to do the same to you so build at least 3 in range of each other, or have lots of APCs around). In the end it's fun to pass a hard mission with your own plan, even if it's frustrating as this one (and it is).

well, "massing troops" isn't really strategy so let's say you need to make appropriate troops: lots of snipers for the north gate, from where comes a lot of infantry, especially those pesky self-bombers. Mammoth tanks for the south gate, where you get pushed with all vehicles Nod can muster. Make an airfield and bomb those Obelisks at each gate, secure the tib fields (I built another MCV to settle north and moved my main one at the south gate) and THEN you mass troops to push gates. Ion cannon is a noob trap, you can't use it until you push inside so just build it in the end.

welp, I just wanted to post a brief guide on how to do Sarajevo mission but character limit is way too strict, so i'll say just this: the mission is a hassle but is doable in easy mode (and there arent reasons not to play easy if you don't want a challenge). You have to secure all 3 tiberium fields, mass troops and push either/both north and south (that's what I did, I replayed the mission right after seeing this post to see if it was that hard). In the end it's good that the patch fix exists as everyone should play however the hell they want. Peace out.

maybe its just me but single player is too easy even with the updated ddifficulty

Don't listen to the fools in the comments that say it is not impossible and require different strategies. This Patch was made for Multiplayer, not Singleplayer. Yet it fully affected the Singleplayer Campaign and made it super difficult. If you want to play Singleplayer properly definitely download this to bring it back to it's Former Glory.

Holy shit, thank you so much. Sarajevo is impossible on EASY and i beat this game when I was a kid.
