Linking your Steam and Discord Account
Before you can link your Steam account to Yeeti, you have to make sure your Steam account is linked to your Discord account. This is important because you will not be able to link your Steam account to Yeeti if you do not have your Steam and Discord linked.

If you are unsure how to link your Steam and Discord, follow these instructions:

1. Click the "Settings" icon in the bottom left of your Discord app next to your name

2. Click "Connections" in the first group of tabs listed in Settings

3. Click the Steam icon and sign in with your Steam account

After you have done this, your Steam and Discord accounts should be linked, so you are now ready to link your Steam account to Yeeti.
Linking your Steam Account to Yeeti
Now we can get to linking your Steam account to Yeeti. I just want to say again, if you did not link your Steam and Discord accounts, this will not work.

To link your Steam account to Yeeti, follow these steps:

1. Type /link in a Discord channel. Make sure that the Yeeti bot is in the Discord you are doing this in. You should get a popup command that looks like this

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Hit enter with /link typed and a message only you can see should pop up that looks like this. If you do not get this message, make sure your Discord is up to date, or just try again as sometimes it does not work the first try.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
2. Click the "Yeeti Dashboard" link in the message. This will take you to the Yeeti website which should look like this
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
3. Under your Discord username, select the "--Select an account to link--" dropdown box. You should see your Steam account with an option to save it to the Yeeti bot. To warn again, if you did not link your Steam and Discord accounts, you will not see your Steam account here.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Select your Steam account name from the dropdown box and hit "Save". After you have done this you should get a DM from the Yeeti bot confirming that you linked your account successfully and Yeeti will tell you if you have gotten any roles for a server
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
After y‎ou have gotten then DM, you are good to go and your Steam account is linked to Yeeti!
Setting up Yeeti on your Server
This section of the guide will walk you through getting Yeeti setup on your unturned server.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
1 First, you will need to go to the Yeeti Website[yeeti.xyz]
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Once here, you will need to invite Yeeti to the Discord server associated with your unturned server. To do this, click the +Invite link at the top of the Yeeti website. This will take you to a screen where you will select the server you want Yeeti to be added to:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
After you select the server, hit Continue, then Authorize. Make sure to keep all the check boxes checked in the invite screen. After this, Yeeti should be added into your Discord server.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
2 Now you will need to download the plugin dll file and put it in your plugins folder. You need to have RocketMod installed for Yeeti to work. You can find the files for RocketMod here[github.com]. To install the plugin on your server, go to the Dashboard[yeeti.xyz] on the Yeeti Website. Here you will see all the servers the Yeeti bot is in that you are an Owner/Administrator of. If your server is not showing up, make sure you are the owner/admin of the Discord server, and you have invited Yeeti to the server.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Click on the server you want to use. This will open up a menu that looks like this:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Here you can click the "+" in the top right of the menu to get a link to the Yeeti Loader plugin. Click on the link to download the file. Your computer or Antivirus may block the download, but bypass it and allow it to download. Don't close out the website quite yet either, we will be back soon
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Once you have the dll file, open your server's files. Navigate to the files that look like this:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
The most common path for the files would be something like "Server Folder Name"\Servers\"Server Name". After this, you want to open the Rocket folder, then the Plugins folder. Inside the Plugins folder, this is where you want to put the YeetiLoader.dll file. Now you will want to restart your server so the Yeeti folder loads in your Plugins folder. Once restarted, you should see 2 folders loaded: Yeeti and Yeeti Loader. Click into the Yeeti folder and open the Yeeti.configuration.xml file. It should look like this:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
3 You will now need to get your key and put it between <Key> and </Key> in the config file. To get you key, go back to the Yeeti website. You need to click the "+" again if you closed out that pop-up where we were earlier to download the Yeeti dll file. Here you will see a copy of the config but with your unique key between the <Key> and </Key>
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Copy this string into the config file for Yeeti
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
After you have put the key in the config file, restart your server again. Once it has restarted, go back to the Yeeti website, in the same pop-up screen, and hit the refresh button in the bottom right of the pop-up screen
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
If done correctly, your server should now show up under the Select the server to add: option. Here, we will click the bubble next to the server you want to add, and hit ADD in the bottom right:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Once added, your Servers part of the dashboard should be updated with your server on it and you are all finished and have Yeeti added to your server!
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Understanding the Settings and Channels for Logs
In this section, I will run through the different Log options and other display options with the Yeeti bot in your Discord server.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
Before you begin, it is important that you give the Yeeti bot access to all channels you want it to send messages in. The bot needs permission to view and send messages in the channel. If you do not give the bot the permissions to view and write in the channel, the channel will not show up in the drop down menus on the website
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
To start, open the Yeeti Dashboard[yeeti.xyz] and select your server. It should look like this:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
1The Reward Role option is given to players who have their steam linked to Yeeti and are in your Discord server. This can be used to reward players for joining your Discord server by giving them a kit or whatever you want. To set up an in-game role with the Reward Role, go to your Rocket Permissions config file. In the file, you want to add a group with the same exact name as the Discord role. For example, in the picture above, my Reward Role is "ActiveReward", so my config in the permissions file to give people with this role a kit would be this:
<Group>
<Id>ActiveReward</Id>
<DisplayName />
<Prefix />
<Suffix />
<Color>FF9900</Color>
<Members />
<ParentGroup>default</ParentGroup>
<Priority>100</Priority>
<Permissions>
<Permission Cooldown="0">kit.discord</Permission>
</Permissions>
</Group>
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
2 The Staff and Admin options are used similarly. The Staff option will let users with this role in Discord use commands in your configured chat channel if they have their steam and Yeeti linked, and have the permission in-game. For example, you could give your moderators this role, and if they have permission in-game to kick and ban, they can kick and ban through Discord in the configured chat channel. Alternately, the Admin option allowes for all commands to be used.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
3 The Serverlist Channel option will display your server(s) in the specified channel you select. The serverlist looks like this:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
4 The Chat Template option dictates how messages will be shown in-game if the message is sent through Discord in your configured chat channel. With the config shown in the starting picture, the message looks like this:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
5 The Role Commands option allowed you to execute a console command whenever a linked user gains or loses a role. Use a channel configured as a chat channel in the Channel option here.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
To get to the next set of options, click the edit symbol next to your server to open the next page:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
5 The Sync Roles slider on the left hand side will sync roles to permission groups for players who linked their steam to Yeeti. This is needed if you set up a Reward Role from above.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
6 The Show IP addresses slider will show players IP address when they are banned in the configured ban channel
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
7 The Show spy images slider will take a spy image of a reported player and add it to the report in the configured channel
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
8 The Show player position slider will show the players position on death, join and leave log messages
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
9 The Raid Alerts (a premium feature) slider will enable raid alerts for players who have the permission in-game. The permission for raid alerts is "raidalerts" and needs to be added in the rocket permissions config file for the group you want to have them.
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
10 The Render mapstates (a premium feature) slider will render images for mapstate messages (this is tied to an option that will be discussed later)
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
11 The Anonymous alerts (a premium feature) slider will dictate whether raid alerts are anonymous or show the name of the raider
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
12 The Chat Channel option will be your configured chat channel. This will be message logs as well as where commands can be executed from Discord
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
13 The Area Channel option is the log channel for area chat
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
14 The Server Channel option is the log channel for server messages
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
15 The Info Channel option will display details about the server. Example here:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
16 The Invite Link option will be where players who use /discord in-game will be invited to. The Yeeti bot will need the "Create Invite" permission in Discord for this to work
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
17 The Join Channel option is where logs of joined players will show
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
18 The Leave Channel option is where logs of players who leave will show
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
19 The Report option is where in-game reports will log to. Players need the "report" permission to use this command
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
20 The Ban Channel option will log all bans from the server
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
21 The Command Channel option will log all commands used in the server
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
22 The Mapstate Channel option will show the mapstate for the server. Example here:
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
23 The Ranking Channel option will display the leaderboard for your server. This option requires you have the plugin PlayerStats[imperialplugins.com]
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
24 The Damage Channel (a premium feature) option will log player damage
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
25 The Build Channel (a premium feature) option will log player builds
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
26 The BuildDamage Channel (a premium feature) option will log damage to player built structures
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
27 The Group Channel (a premium feature) option will log group chat
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
28 The Spy (a premium feature) option will log spys automatically taken every 30 minutes
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
29 The Vehicle Channel (a premium feature) option will log vehicle events. The various events that can be logged are selected in the bottom left of the page under "Vehicle Events"
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
30 The IP and Port box will overwrite the IP or Port in info messages
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
31 The Ranking Title box will overwrite message title for ranking messages
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
32 The Vote Link box is the link put under info messages to send players to your voting page
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

Unlinking your Steam with Yeeti
To unlink your steam account from Yeeti, you will need to message Arechi in the #support channel in the Yeeti Discord Server[discord.com]

If you want to make it even easier for Arechi, type "I need my account unlinked. Here is my Discord OR Steam ID: *YOUR DISCORD OR STEAM ID HERE*". To get your Discord ID, right click on your name in the member list on any discord server or dm and click "Copy ID"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎
To get your steam ID, go here[steamid.io] and paste your profile link in the "input" section, hit lookup, then copy the numbers next to "steamID64"

You don't need both your Discord and Steam ID, just one or the other.
