FOV fix:

It requires Ultimate ASI loader to force the game to load it, which you get here:

@OP; sorry for spamming the comment section. (:

I also used a LAA / 4gb patcher on the Joan exe since I wanted to use the HD mod as well.
Don't bother with the conf file included here. It's made with the OP's settings for his own hardware, so unless you have similar hardware, it could cause the game to freeze up. You're better off just using your own conf file from dgVoodoo.
1920x1080 makes this game look terrible though as it's a 16:9 aspect ratio; it stretches out the game horizontally. You should stick to 4:3 resolutions. If you have a 4k monitor, try 2560x1920 with dgVoodoo. It looks great. Some other hi-res 4:3 resolutions: 1440×1080, 1600×1200, 1856×1392, 1920×1440, and 2048×1536.
I actually did record a video with the settings off and then on to show the difference in-game, but I've only used OBS once or twice before and I screwed it up(the output video ended up being really low resolution and super blurry :/ )
*It's important to use Direct3D 11(Feature Level 11.0) as D3D 12 is unstable(vsync option is broken so this 'fix' won't even work) and the lower feature levels have limited or no support for some settings. The version of dgVoodoo I use is 2.82.3 so perhaps these issues have been fixed in newer versions, but barring some regression, D3D11 should still be the most stable.
No I in fact spent hours in dgVoodoo understanding how it works, what it does and everything.
And the reason it doesn't work is because dgVoodoo helps translate older DirectX to post Direct-9, while the actual mouse issues of this game are due to the newer laser technologies. Meaning people with a modern gaming mouse, won't be able to Fix it, while people with an older mouse, let's say one of those cheap microsoft mouse, won't even notice any mouse issues.
So if you want a fix there it is, get yourself an older mouse.
If you think I'm wrong do feel free to make a video on how dgVoodoo helped you and also tell us what mouse you are using.
Which .DLL files do we use from dgVoodoo2? I'm not sure if this is a DX8 or DX9 game, can you let us know exactly which .DLL files we need?
Also, for using the FanSH HD Textures with dgVoodoo2, would we only want to copy the texture folder, the int8x6 folder, and the CONFIG.DAT?
What is your file structure like?
yet the lag-fix doesnt work - i also tried dxwnd with several options and couldnt make it run without lag
This fix doesn't work and it never did. (Also the polling rate fix that you will see elsewhere doesn't work in case you're wondering)
