This is where you install the face and jacket mod if you have Rise Of The White Wolf Installed:

The Witcher Enhanced Edition\Data\z_zrotww\Characters\Geralt

The eyes mod goes to:

The Witcher Enhanced Edition\Data\z_zrotww\Characters\Wiedzmini

If you don't have Rise Of The White Wolf installed just create a "Override" folder inside the Data folder. Place all the mods there.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need help.

I am a controller user as well. It took me a lot to get used with playing this game with keyboard and mouse.

Here is what i use for Geralt:

https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher/mods/940 (I use Striga Scar and or Headband with Body Scars)

https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher/mods/950

https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher/mods/780 (I suggest installing this first, because i think the Witcher 3 face with the striga scar will ask you to override the files. If it asks you, accept. This mod replaces the face and the jackets, the Witcher 3 face with the striga scar replaces just the face.)

I see. Well, it is very simple. You need to create a folder called "Override" in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Witcher Enhanced Edition\Data

And there you will place most of your mods. I have installation instructions on the guide. There also a video that shows you an exemple on how you will install most of your mods. But if you download them from Nexus Mods, each mod will have their own installation tutorial.
Can you show me please the mod you are trying to install?

Also, also, you should start with the rise of the white wolf mod.
