First thing to know, this game is built with the Ren'Py engine. My options.rpyc file is safe and is a script for the engine to use. Feel free to scan it otherwise.

Please follow these steps accurately..

1.
Launch the Shigatari game and then press SHIFT + G and set the graphics acceleration to Force Software Renderer. Quit the game. Start it again and check that software renderer is still enabled. Quit and then move on to step 2. You may notice that before moving onto step 2, the game's custom cursor is kinda wonky when dragging.

Put this options.rpyc file into the game's "game" directory.


It should look something similar to this when done.

Play and if the game is stable and doesn't slow down after 30-60 minutes, congrats. You will notice the game will also use your hardware's mouse instead of the game's custom one. This is intended, as it'll make the game compatible to your mouse's polling rate frequency hz to reduce mouse stutter. It was also drawing way too many frames anyway.

If your game crashes.. follow the above instructions but with the following exceptions:

Manually limit the frame rate to 60 fps. If you're a nvidia or amd user, you should know how. If you don't have a way to manually limit fps for any reason.. then continue below.

If game STILL crashes after some time or you don't have a way to manually limit the FPS, open the game and set the render to Automatically Choose (Go to top to see how to set render, and you may still have to limit the frame rate.). Mouse may stutter just a little.

Additionally, you can try setting your mouse's polling rate to 1000 as well (If yours is 4000/or 8000.). This is not dpi.

Yes, you still need my options.rpyc file.
