West of Moonstone Clearing, a dryad ask you to plant her seed near a water source, because she's drying. South-east from there, you will find a druid who will refuse to let you plant the dryad's seed here, near the river. Talk to him and find a solution : the dryad is poisoned, her seed will contaminate the river and it will kill the inhabitants of Scofarth if you plant it here. The druid tells you to throw the seeds in the fire. Ask him if there is another solution. He will talk to you about the cursed tree, east of Fasitgrove, which contains an antidote. Say you will go find this cursed tree, and go to Talgorn's Glen. The cursed tree is to the North, you will find the antidote there. Bring it back to the dryad, the success is yours.

After talking to Uld, go to Lucille (in Fasitgrove too, north-west), who will talk about her husband whom a witch cursed. The same witch that cursed Madruk ! You must do Lucille's quest in order to get more informations about Madruk's curse. Her quest is simple : go to Locus, south-west, to give Lucille's potion to Berinard. Go back to Lucille. She will tell you to give Madruk a Miraculous Antidote. This potion is in Talgorn's Inn, in Talgorn's Glen, or at the herbalist, in Deron-Guld Gates. Go to Madruk with the Miraculous Antidote, but you must have Bargain and Persuasion up to 68% minimum, else he won't take it and will try to kill you.

The way of the druid
Complete Volendir's story.

Volendir is met for the first time outside the hut in Crone's Hut, he will ask you for help about spiders. Help him.
You will find him after in the Valley of Singing Trees. He will ask you to help the druids, in the quest Wife of the Waves (see solution in the corresponding section).
Then you will meet him in Tor's Cliff (you will unlock this place by the end of chapter 4). Talk to him, he will ask nothing this time.
Finally, you will find him in chapter 5 in Castle Alastor Level Two, imprisoned in a cage to the east. Talk to him and gain the achievement.

Rehab

Krag is in Market Street, he's one of the three thiefs who ask you for money when you enter for the first time in the capital. He needs a potion of Cure All, that you should have find in Crone's Hut in the tutorial. It is possible to give it to him only the first time you see him.

Time traveler
Travel back in time, then return to the present !

This achievement is related to the quest « Trapped under the surface ». It begins in Vintner's Grove, in the Vintner's cave. You will find Stephan and his men there, sick as hell. They will ask you to find Otto, further in the cave. Once you have saved him from the bandits, he will talk to you about travel in time. You must find a stone (for the travel in time) and a book (which contains the recipe for the antidote that will cure Stephan, Otto and the others). Theses objects should be on bandits that left south-west of Vintner's Grove. You must go to Moonstone Clearing, you will see a fire in the center of the map, the bandits are there. With enough Bargain and Persuasion, you should retrieve the stone without issue, or you will have to pay, or kill. On the other hand, the book has been used to make fire, such a shame !
Go back to Otto. He will make you travel in time to retrieve the antidote and take it back to the present time. There is one problem : it is impossible to bring back objects from the past without destroying them, so you will have to find a way to get around this rule. Going forward in this level of the past, you will find Isla who will ask a riddle to which you cannot have the answer. She will teleport you in a kind of dream where you must find the riddle's answer. You will find it with the Sleepwalker who, after giving you the answer, will anihilate you. You won't be able to do anything about it, but at least you will go back to Isla. She will offers you to go back in your time. You can do so and get the achievement, but you still don't have an antidote !
For the quest : the antidote is on a table near a group of ennemis, you must take it to « Handsome » Dirk (at the beginning of the level), so he will hide the antidote on the Eternal Ones. They are eternal after all, so the antidote will still be there when you return to the present. Go back to Isla, and you will have the achievement in addition to saving lives !

Solve the riddle of the Sanguine Melonbulb.

The Sanguine Melonbulb can be find in Deron-Guld Mine Upper Level (the mine to the south of Deron-Guld Mine).
You have to do in the correct order symbolic actions to satisfy the sanguine melonbulb. If your character or their companions has a good level in Brewing and Drying, it will help. There is no consequences if you make a mistake, you'll just have to restart from the beginning.
Symbolic actions are in this order :
  • Shake a few leaves off the vines.
  • Stand between the plant and some of the glowing foliage around it.
  • Gather some of the dead leaves from the floor and place them around the base of the plant.
  • Lift one of the vines into a beam of sunlight shining through a crak in the ceiling.
The achievement will be yours and you will be able to take the melon in the center of the plant without issue.

To do so, you'll have beforehand to forge Alakai's blade, in the Edge of Dusk's quest. It is indeed Lorin Duskbreaker's sword ! This handsome man is found in Rothgor's Realm, to the north-east, in chapter 5. You just have to talk to him while having the sword, the achievement will unlock.

In chapter 4, during the quest To The Quick, after talking to Alumu, you must return to the king. You'll be stopped in Isilbright Gates by a crowd of inhabitants facing guards. Gerdra will come to talk to you, and will offer you a greedy task. Accept, it will make your party greed go up by 50 points and will give you the achievement.
Achievements related to companions' quests (1/2)
The Destined
Complete Bjalla's quest line.

Bjalla is found in The Crooked Haggler, in Market Street. Help her with her suitors to be able to enlist her.
To trigger her quest, you'll have to travel with Bjalla for some time, then you will be able to talk to her and ask what does she want for the future. She will ask for a favor : you'll have to go to the Wardenhaft Academy's library, from which Bjalla has been prohibited. Inaccessible to the public, you'll have two ways to get in there. The first one : use shadows to sneak up to the bookcase at the bottom right, there is a novice in front of it (if you're quick enough you'll have no issue taking the book). The second way is to gain access legally to the library. To do so, go to the upper floor to talk to Mendelroth. He will accept to take you in, only if you get rid of the rats in the cellar. Go down, take the stairs Ward of Forbidden Arts, and you'll find yourself in front of three rats. You can talk with them, convince them to go with Bargain and Persuasion, or kill them. Go back to Mendelroth, you'll gain access to the library.
Whatever you chose, you should have the book Trials of the White Elves. He will be in your quest inventory, read it, then talk to Bjalla. She will need some time to finish the book on her own.
Later, you can talk to her, she will tell you that you need to find a Feldegug old woman. Go to Deron-Guld Gates and talk with the herborist, north-west. Talk to Bjalla again, the quest will end.
You'll have to wait until the beginning of chapter 5, when you will hear about the Alvimelkedic Temple from Isla in the Curious Cat Tavern, in Deron-Guld. Talk to Bjalla, it will start the quest « The Temple ».
You'll have to go to Stoutwood Pass to take the east exit to go to Alvimelkedic's Town. Go to the north-east of the map to join the Temple of Alvimelkedic, then go inside the temple itself. You'll have to fight to go to the north-east, where you will fight again and learn about the diadem's origin. The quest is over, and the achievement is yours.

Be warned that if you have Jade in your group, whether you did her quest in parallel or not, you'll have to make a choice, because both need the enlightenment of this undead. You choose one, you lose the other.

The Wife of the Waves
Complete Sea Hag's quest line.

Sea Hag is in the center of the Valley of the Singing Trees.
It is with this quest that you will be able to enlist Sea Hag. It triggers when you talk to her. She wants to make an offering to Tilindia, but doesn't know what kind of offering she should do. Talk to Chrysante, right next to Sea Hag. With enough Bargain and persuasion, she will give you the riddle's answer. Talk again to Sea Hag, and with enough Intelligence you character will conclude that you'll need some sand as an offering.
Go to Dalkivar. North of this map, you'll find sand. Take it back to Sea Hag and give it to Tilindia. Achievement is yours !

The Shady One
Complete Hamlin's quest line.

Hamlin is found in Greybark Square, he will run into you first time you go there.
His quest triggers at Espen Estate (chapter 2), when he'll see Lady Espen's intact portrait on the wall. He needs this painting to have a place in the thieves guild. You'll have to accept that he takes it. Going back to Isilbright, Hamlin will go alone to the thieves guild. You'll have to meet him in Greybark Square later. He will confess he's been attacked on the way and has lost the painting. He goes back to your side.
At the beginning of chapter 4, the king orders you to search the Duke Kjarvalr's manor. In the main room, Hamlin will see the painting he was robbed from. He will ask to interrogate everyone in this manor to have some informations about the thieves. Talk to the cook, he will tell you it was the work of two men and a woman who also tried to negociate the painting's price. This means they are not from the thieves guild. Hamlin doesn't know what to do : inform the thieves guild, but that would mean admitting his weakness, or giving up about that painting. You can let him choose alone or influence him, either way he will think about it for some time (but still be with your group).
He'll think about it until the middle of chapter 5 (when the king invites you to the palace). He will talk to you directly, you don't have to trigger the dialogue. He will tell you his choice, and you'll have to help him. Go to the Market Street, to the Thieves Guild (in the General Store, take the stairs, the guards will let you pass). Talk to Lendel, who will kind of tell you you'll have to execute these thieves.
Go to Greybark Square, to the graveyard at the east of the map. The thieves are right at the entrance. Do what you must, then go back the guild and take the achievement as a reward.
Achievements related to companions' quests (2/2)
The Lady in the Dark
Complete Jade's quest line.

Jade is found in Amanuel's Hoard, in Amanuel's Dungeon.
After saving her, do the whole Amanuel's dungeon with her. After killing Lord Amanuel, talk to Jade, ask questions about herself, get to know her. She will tell you she has a diadem glued to her forehead, sucking her energy little by little. She obviously wants to get rid of this curse. If you're a priest, you can try to Abolish Curse. I don't know if it can actually work, but if it didn't, go to the Temple of Alnarius in Market Street. Talk to Acolyte Brebius or Priestess Genevieve about this curse. They will tell you to talk to High Priest of Alnarius (he's right next to them). He will abolish the curse in exchange of 5000 golds.
But now Jade suffers from insomnia and has nightmares about a wolf. She asks you to go to Alvimelkedic's temple to know more about it. You'll have to go to Stoutwood Pass to take the east exit to go to Alvimelkedic's Town. Go to the north-east of the map to join the Temple of Alvimelkedic, then go inside the temple itself. You'll have to fight to go to the north-east, where you will fight against a revenant and learn about the wolf's origin. The quest is over, and the achievement is yours.

Be warned that if you have Bjalla in your group, whether you did her quest in parallel or not, you'll have to make a choice, because both need the enlightenment of this undead. You choose one, you lose the other.

The Cursed
Complete Arvex's quest line.

Arvex is found in Moonstone Clearing.
His quest will be triggered when you will have unlocked Garden of Delights (chapter 3).
Talk to Arvex, he will ask you to find in Garden of Delights some clues about his curse : he cannot die. Go to the Museum, east of the map, and search in the furnitures there. You'll find the Zorian Cultist's Journal. Arvex will want to talk.
Next step : talk to Zanahib. He's in Alumu's tent in The Great Pavilion, still in Garden of Delights. You must have already talked to Alumu to trigger his dialogue. He will unlock you three places, but we only need one : the Broken Monastery. Now unlocked, go there, explore until you're in the Inner Chapel, destroy the demon, and then talk to Arvex. It was fake news, there's nothing here that could help him.
At this point, you need to have Siracca in your party for the following (thanks to Noodles for this information). Siracca is in Market Street, to the east of Alnarius Church.
Go get some sleep. In the morning (or whatever), Arvex will want to talk. He had a vision during the night. The djinn told him he will grant him an eternal sleep and the resurrection of his wife and daughter, but in exchange he wants Arvex to bring Siracca to the Moonstone Clearing, to "forgive" her of her sins. Siracca will obviously tell you she's not really reassured. Say you will consider it, but whatever she said you don't care and go to Moonstone Clearing.
In Moonstone Clearing, go in the center of the map, to the Moonstone. You must have Arvex and Siracca with you (you can have more companions it doesn't matter). Arvex will kindly ask you to help him slay Siracca and you will kindly accept. The achievement is yours once she's "forgiven".

Paramour
Develop a romantic relationship.

Just be yourself.
I won't give you a full guide on each relationship, you just have to do their personal quest line and choose every answer that implies more than friendship.
Romance options are : Arvex, Bjalla, Hamlin and Jade. Isla can be a one night stand, as she is a temporary companion, but it might work too for the achievement. You can also romance Alenar in the Wardenhaft Academy after finishing his quests (thanks to jcorax for this info).
You can try to romance everyone at once but choosing one will stop every romantic relationships you may have started with the others.
Miscellaneous (1/2)
Master of arms
Raise a single weapon skill to its maximum level.

Quick and easy, especially with a fighter (yourself or even Helgenhar, the first guy you cross path with). Max level is 15.

Reforged anew.
Forge Alakai, the Edge of Dusk.

This sword is related to the quest The Edge of Dusk.
Go to Fasitgrove, in Cyclop's lair in the south-east of the map. Open the chest to find a Mysterious Item. Identify it, it is Alakai's blade. Go to Market Street to talk to Tolbard, the blacksmith (west of the map). He knows this blade and offers to reforged it for you, in exchange of 5000 golds, but he also needs a Rilvite Slab and the other part of the blade.
You'll get three choices for the Rilvite Slab. The first one, you'll have to simply buy it from Crower, the merchant at the entrance of Deron-Guld Center (the price changes depending on the level of world greed). The second one, you'll have to go to Solomon's Armory (in Deron-Guld Center too) and steal from Solomon's pockets, since he doesn't sell it. The last choice you have is to go in the storage house, in a locked chest can be found a Rilvite Slab.
For the other part of the blade, you'll have to go to Crimson Crossing, in The Den of Merchants. To the north-west, in a locker, you can find the hilt. Be careful not to cross anyone.
Go back to Market Street to get the blade restaured by Tolbard.

The Lord of Vines
Craft the Vine-Grown bow.

The Vine-Grown bow is the reward for the side quest The Master's Vintner's Away. For this quest, you'll have to get a grapevine from Dalkivar's fields and give it to Vincent in Vintner's Grove.
Then you will have to take the bow to Iwor, in the north-east of Deron-Guld Gates, and ask him to tear apart the vines that imprison the bow. He will agree if you bring him some meat, he doesn't care what kind of meat, he just wants some. You can have it in your inventory before talking to him and give it right after his request, or you'll have to hunt or buy some and go back to him.
He will be able to tear off most of the vines, but he cannot free it completely because he has really big hands. He suggests that you go to someone who knows plants, and who has more little hands than him. Someone in this area is the perfect match : the herborist, in the north-west of Deron-Guld Gates. Give 3000 golds and the bow will be yours (it's cursed).

Shady contacts
Find all the hidden merchants in the cities of Isilmerald.

There are three of them that you'll have to talk to during the night :
  • Barry « Two-Toes », in Market Street, in the alley between The Crooked Hagler and the General Store ;
  • Morten, walking in Deron-Guld South, mostly in front of the north entrance and east of the map ;
  • Shady Dealer, in Garden of Delights, right in front of Den of Spice's tent, south-east.
It might be possible you cannot find them if you've come to the area during the day and waited the night there ; try getting to the area during the night.

The Ultimate Misers
Acquire King Velianrick and Lord Amanuel as your summonable undead servants.

During the quest To the quick in chapter 4, after talking to Alumu and Zanahib, you'll have to go to Isilbright Gates. You'll be stopped there by a crowd of inhabitants facing guards. Gerdra will come to talk to you, and will offer you a greedy task. Accept, it will make your party greed go up by 50 points and will give you the Messenger of greed achievement.
She will give you the Covetous Pendant. With this necklace, you'll have to kill Lord Amanuel (in Amanuel's Hoard) and king Velianrick (you'll have to wait until you have the achievement Friending the Usurper, where you side with Aldnar, you'll have to fight the king at one point in the future after that (thanks to Noodles for the feedback)). Both dead while you had the necklace, you'll get the achievement.

Isilmerald Sightseeing
Visit all towns and city disctrics in Isilmerald.

Most of them are discovered through the main quest, some with Zanahib (in Garden of Delights), and others are found by going to the cardinal points of maps to unlock the surroundings. Here it is specified towns and city districts, so forests and moutains doesn't count but it shouldn't stop you from exploring them.

Spells can be bought or found in chests, bookcases or on your dead ennemies. Spells cannot be learned by everyone, they all have a specific domain. This achievement will come very quickly.

It doesn't count if you just have them in your inventory, you must click on it and click read, then turn the pages by clicking on it again. I had the achievement, probably broken, just by reading the following books :
  • The Voice in the woods (Hall of records or Deron-Guld Academy)
  • The Sea God and the Nobleman's Son
  • Book of Zoria (Deron-Guld mine lower level)
  • Captain Munkr's Marvellous Compendium : Eternal Ones (Guild Hall Upper floor in Deron-Guld)
  • Zorian's cultist journal (The Museum in Garden of Delights)
Go mostly in academies, libraries, search in every bookcases and you will find the books that are needed for this achievement. Write down every titles so you know where you are, since there is no indication that it is a new book or one that you have already read.
Achievements related to reputation/greed
The World will burn
Reach Terminal World Greed.

You can check the greed level in Party Sheet, tab Greed. This level changes according to your choices, be it only dialogues to whole quests. Furthermore, the level increase over time. Be greedy and it will increase even faster. I had the achievement around 2400/3000.
You can get the covetous pendant for even faster greed points (check The Ultimate Misers achievement description for the pendant, thanks to Noodles for the advice !), as it makes greed points increase every time you loot equipments.

The Epitome of Greed
Reach a party greed rating of Extremely Greedy.

Do a lot of side quests where you ask for more and more rewards, steal on people or furnitures (there will be written « unhautorized »). Being contemptuous helps too. You must reach 240 greed points to unlock this achievement.
This achievement is compatible with The World will burn. The greed level can be check in Party Sheet, tab Greed. Go over the Greedy indicator with your mouse to get the exact level.
You can get the covetous pendant for even faster greed points (check The Ultimate Misers achievement description for the pendant, thanks to Noodles for the advice !), as it makes greed points increase every time you loot equipments.

The Epitome of Selflessness
Reach a party greed rating of Extremely Generous.

Do a lot of side quests, refuse every rewards, give from your own purse if you can, make donations to the Church and don't steal (furnitures are indicated « unhautorized » when you're about to steal).
The generosity level can be checked in Party Sheet, tab Greed. Careful, the indicator of greed gives you the level of greed your party has, therefore the more generous you are, the more this level will be negative. Don't be surprised if you see a negative number while you're being generous.
Conclusion
If you have any questions, I will help the best I can. I hope this guide helped you and that you'll love this game as much as I did.

Again, and it seems I will say it in every languages I can (well at least in two languages), thanks to the devs, thank you for making such games, I will never get tired of them, and also thank you for being so reagent and patient with people like us who only wants more game like Black Geyser.

They should let you pass without trouble or anything to do beforehand. I guess Hamlin is in your party so it must be a bug indeed... If you have a save before he gives you his quest, load it and try once more ? Or make Hamlin quit your party and recruit him again ? Save before doing so, as I don't know what effect it may have on his quest.

I finally finished the game and have one more correction. Thanks for this guide it would of been a pain in the ass to find these anywhere else.

For the Champion of Alnarius. When I got to the quest It's Right Place, I saw that people were having trouble in the comments so I looked it up and turns out the conditions are slightly wrong. Greed is not required, but Reputation is. Reputation needs to be 150 or more and you will get the achievement after the peace talks. When you step out of the castle, if your rep is 150 or more the High Priest of Alnarius will automatically start dialogue and you will get the achievement.

It's probably safe to say this is one of the more difficult achievements since reputation is only increased through quests and if you don't pick the correct dialogue option that gives you the most reputation you'll end up locking yourself from the achievement.

Thanks again, you're a great help ! It's been awhile since I launched the game, so I didn't know about this. I'll correct that.

For The Cursed achievement involving Arvex and Siracca. I actually went through the game without recruiting Siracca at all and it turns out that Arvex will never have the dream with the djinn. So you would have to have Siracca in the party manager window to have Arvex quest to progress to the final part of the quest.

Thanks for your feedback ! I will correct that right now.

For The Ultimate Misers. I tried to get the King as a miser as soon as I got the pendant but that doesn't work at all. You should remove it and state that you can only get the King as a miser after siding with Aldner and then fighting the King in the specific battle ground. (idk what battle ground because I haven't been there yet, but from what I read while searching about this achievement you will be fighting the King at some point after siding with Aldner)

When I tried to get the King I couldn't even exit the area because of the endless spawn of guards so there probably isn't any code to allow you to get the King as a miser at that time.

Also about the covetous pendant. If anyone is planning to work on getting the two achievements "The World Will Burn" and "The Epitome of Greed" it's best to get the Covetous Pendant first because it allows party greed and world greed to increase every time you loot equipment items as well as potions, powders and scrolls.

I'm sorry to hear that, have you tried to talk with the devs about that ? I got the achievement but it was a long time ago, might be a new bug they could fix, and maybe help you get the achievement without restarting all over. Hope you will find a solution (and if so, you can tell us here in case others get the same problem) !

My greed was -200, reputation was about 105, I saved who I was supposed to save, didn't join Aldnar, did ALL the side-quests for reputation - still didn't get the Champion of Alnarius achivement. (bear in mind - I got the prize from the duchess before attending the peace talks)

Sucks after burning 30h in and actually being consistently *not* greedy to not get a "good side" achievement.
