in this guide i'll show you how to Open tilesets from Crocotile3D in other programs so you can draw tilesets in your other drawing programs, and then use them in Crocotile.

drawing in the program you're used to generally just feels nicer, since you already know all the tools!

so here we are in a simple Crocotile save, heres a little ribbon i made so it's easier to see what happens when we do stuff to the tileset!

first thing to do is to Export out our Tileset.
Tileset -> 🖼/Export Tileset

Save the Tileset somewhere you want it

Now we need to make sure that Crocotile3D is taking the Tileset from the Exported Tileset you just Exported.
so lets replace it!
Tileset -> 🖼/Replace Tileset

Then you just pick any tileset you want

Now you can just open the Tileset in what ever Drawing program you want!! (here Aseprite[www.aseprite.org] is Shown)
Placing the two programs next to each other is what I often do

Now you can Edit the Tileset in Aseprite, and then Everytime you SAVE in Aseprite and CLICK on Crocotile3D it should update with the new Tileset textures!

Note: since Crocotile3D has been updated, theres is now a settings page to enable Auto Refresh Tilesets. If your tilesets are not updating try checking if its on or not!
