This Potion Permit Friendship and Romance guide will tell you how friendship works, what you get for leveling up friendship, and how to unlock romance with the townspeople. Note: This guide has been inspired from google so if there are any mistakes or missing information, I apologize in advance. I put this on steam so no one had to google while in game.

Things to do first.
1. Talking to a person once a day.
2. Giving a character Moon Cloves once a day.

How to get Moon Cloves?
The two ways I know to get them are:

1. Helping sick people at the clinic.
2. Completing specific quests

The easiest and most consistent way to get moon cloves is from healing sick patients. Dont waste them by giving them to characters whos friendship meters are almost full. Its gonna take multiple ingame days to level up the meter so just take your time, dont rush it.


Once you max out the friendship meter with a character is then the only time you can start romancing them.
There is six eligible bachelors/bachelorettes. (6 characters total. Not 6 of each!).

Once you max a friendship meter to level 3, a couple days later, Nova will tell you they are selling a Moon Brooch at the tailor shop. You can buy one for 5 Moon Cloves.

You can only romance one character so make sure you know who you want.
