Also, just as a note, although I did not see an actual issue, I could see it causing a problem. Be careful getting all the items in the game, as it could mess up the game itself, causing unusual glitches to happen. This is not unusual for this to happen as you are not technically supposed to have all the items at one time. Plus, activating items could cause certain events to happen early when they are actually supposed to happen later in the game. Only use the item and weapon codes as a last resort, or if you have beaten the game and you want to see what you "could" have done differently.

Just thought I should point this out,

Cheats are working just fine for me. I type in the code and shotgun sound is played. I was playing the game at the start where you are in your room. Just type the codes in while playing the game and they will work.

Just a note, invincibility does work, however, if during the dialog, you make a bad choice, it does not prevent you from being killed based on the dialog. The invincibility only works during action sequences, not when you make a bad dialog choice. So you can still die.
