Community Patch
Current version: 1.4.0



Community Patch is a mod that fixes a number of overlooked bugs in the game. This mod is a standalone version of code fixes that were previously made for Link's Uboat Expanded (UBE). Those bugs are fairly rare, and historically in B121 they were only triggered by UBE pushing the game to its limits, but they have not been fixed in the release so far and have started to appear there "by themselves" without UBE. The community patch provides those fixes outside of UBE so everyone can prevent the appearance of those bugs which are often game-breaking.

The following fixes are provided in version 1.4.0:
  • Prevent an ArgumentOutOfRangeException from breaking some background tasks related to removing left-over NPC ships when a port changes ownership.
  • Prevent an ArgumentOutOfRangeException from breaking the radio UI.
  • Allow custom ship categories to be used without crashing map icons.
  • Fix a bug introduced in the activator banner by official patch 14.
  • Incorporate the functions of Salamender's Torpedo Inspectorate (need to be activated via the data sheet setting).
  • Allow custom categories to be used for airplanes spawners.

Further fixes will be provided in the future as required.

This mod is save game compatible. It can be enabled or disabled at will and do not require a campaign restart.

This has been abandoned. Hasn't been updated in over a year, yall. Really sucks, because some of the good mods rely on this to function.

Is this mod still relevant or does it need updating to work well on the recent 1.0 release, seems like the last comment here was before 1,0.

I've gone back to 2022.1 as well. The final release is a massive downgrade without 3646466 mods being updated. If like arcade then go final release but if you demand realism the final release is not the answer, at least not to date.
