In the following guide, I explain how you can hide the GUI in just a few steps. Please close the game completely before following the steps!

Steam Method:

1. Go into your Drakensang Online settings file: Right-click on “Drakensang Online” in your library, choose “Properties”, “Installed Files” and click on “Browse”, now go into the DSOClient folder and open the “settings.xml” file in your designated editor.
   
2. Search within the file (CTRL + F) for the word “enableShowGuiSwitch” and replace the “false” with “true”.
   
3. Save the file and start the game.
   
4. Pushing CTRL + G should now toggle your GUI.

Client Method:

1. Go into your Drakensang Online settings file: %temp%\DSOClient\settings.xml
   
2. Search within the file (CTRL + F) for the word “enableShowGuiSwitch” and replace the “false” with “true”.
   
3. Save the file and start the game.
   
4. Pushing CTRL + G should now toggle your GUI.
