This chapter has only one achievement tied to it, and it's awarded after the completion of the level.

From this level on, the medals will be available to earn. You can check the medals' requirements by approaching the portal to the corresponding level and pressing X on the Xbox controller, ☐ on the PlayStation controller and Ctrl on the keyboard. All medals are tied to achievements except the one to earn all the collectibles. Collectibles are not required for the completion of this game.

Every chapter from now on will have two medal-related achievements. One is earned by completing the level without dying and the other by obtaining a gold medal. I recommend obtaining these achievements before moving on to the next level, so that you don't have to play the map again to remember the layout or the puzzles. I highly suggest that you consult the Speedrun section of this guide before attempting the gold medals.

By completing this chapter you will obtain the following achievement:


After the first completion of the level, I recommend attempting the Gold medal speedrun. That is because chances are that you will unlock the no-death achievement while attempting the speedrun.

By saying "in one go", the game intends that it has to be one game session. You cannot quit to the main menu or close the game. You can however reload checkpoints, though if you died before reloading the checkpoint it won't undo the death.

This achievement isn't particularly challenging and you will obtain it with little amount of practice. In this level there are a few possible death causes. Mainly the wisps, which are easily avoidable, and 2 puzzles involving electricity.
Unfortunately there aren't any tips or workarounds for no-death achievements. But again, it won't be too much of an hassle if you already know the map.

At the same time, assuming this is the first level you get a no-death medal or a speedrun medal on, the following achievement will unlock as well:

In order to obtain the gold medal in chapter 2 you will need to complete the level within 13:00 minutes. This is the second longest chapter and arguably the hardest to complete the speedrun on.
Consult the Speedrun section of this guide for tricks to obtain this achievement.

By completing the chapter you will unlock the following achievement:

This achievement is relatively easy and can be obtained with minimal practice. The main threats are the wisps and the turkey (I apologise if it's not a turkey) in the second half of the level.

In order to obtain this achievement you need to complete the chapter within 8:00 minutes. This is the shortest level. Consult the Speedrun section for tips and tricks on how to obtain this chapter's gold medal.

In the second half of the level you're going to get chased by a pike. As soon as you encounter the pike, just stop progressing through the level and avoid 5 attacks by jumping from a leaf to another.
You can die and retry, but the 5 dodges have to be done in one life.

This is probably the easiest level to complete without dying. There are only 2 possible ways to die: during the pike section and with a rock that you need to pull a little before that section.

In order to obtain the gold medal in this chapter you need to complete the level within 9:00 minutes. Consult the Speedrun section of this guide for tricks and tips to obtain this achievement.

After completing the level you will unlock the following achievement:

This achievement might reveal harder than the previous ones as the possible threats are numerous. It will require some practice in order to get it done. Again, I recommend attempting this after the gold medal.

This is the longest level. In order to obtain this achievement you will have to complete the chapter within 14:30 minutes. Consult the Speedrun section for tips and tricks to complete the speedrun achievements.

By directional inputs, it is meant the analog sticks for controllers, and the arrow keys for the keyboard. After jumping and using the lasso, you cannot use the aforementioned inputs. You will have to rely on your momentum to get past this area. It's not too challenging, but it will take a few attempts to get it done.

After completing the level, the following achievement will unlock:

This is probably the hardest level to complete without dying. Threats are present from start to finish. It's not too bad but it will take some practice to get it right.

In order to obtain this gold medal, you need to complete the chapter within 12:00 minutes.

The achievement is self-explanatory. It's not required to not land, as there will be rocks where you can land without voiding the progress of the achievement. You just don't have to touch the water. It is pretty easy to accomplish and chances are you'd probably unlock it without even trying.

In order to obtain this achievement you have to reach a certain point in the map and then backtrack to a specific spot.

After completing the level, the following achievement will unlock:

The only threat for this level are wisps. They are fairly easy to avoid, though some sections might be more of an hassle. It will take a little amount of practice to pull it off.

In order to obtain this achievement, you need to complete this chapter within 11:00 minutes. Consult the Speedrun section of this guide for tips and tricks to earn the gold medal.

The speedrun achievements are by far the most challenging ones of the entire game. If you plan on doing them normally, it will surely take a ton of practice and countless attempts.

But, some mechanics can be exploited in order to accomplish feats that weren't probably intended.
There's one major exploit called Infinite Wall Jumps (IWJs).

Unfortunately, this exploit can only be performed with a controller, as you'll need to hold the left analogue stick to a certain angle, which cannot be replicated with arrow keys.

There's however another exploit that can be performed with the keyboard, which is slower than the previously mentioned exploit, but that will still give you an advantage in speedruns:


Learning how to perform these exploits takes very little time and is a big investment to complete the gold medal achievements in the most time-efficient manner.

IMPORTANT: There's also an exploit that will be showcased in the video below. It will be used just once, for the 2nd chapter. It's the only exploit you'll have to perform in the whole chapter. It's called the skateboard glitch and it takes a bit of practice to be able to perform, but once you pull it off you'll be able to skip a good chunk of the map. The video already shows the inputs for controllers, so I won't go over that.

Next I will go over the possible skips for each map. I will use speedruns of very skilled players to showcase the runs. I will also point out the skips for every chapter, including timestamps. I am not going to point out skips that I consider too unreliable or hard to perform, or that an average Joe like me wasn't able to replicate, but you are completely free to watch each level by yourself and try out every skip showcased in the speedrun.

I will link two speedruns, one for controller and one for keyboard, although if you have a choice I'd highly recommend using the controller.

Unfortunately I've only been using a controller for my completion, so I won't be able to list the timestamps for the keyboard as I've not tried those skips myself. I will just leave the keyboard speedrun here and you can just watch each level and try to copy the skips performed in said video.

IMPORTANT: In the video below the skateboard glitch is not used in chapter 2. I highly recommend doing it, as it can be perfectly performed with a keyboard without any disadvantages. Use the video above for reference. In case you don't know the corresponding controls I will list them here:

Bonus levels are very short optional levels that are unlocked gradually as you progress through the main levels. There are a total of 20 bonus levels (4 per area).

By completing any bonus level for the first time, you'll unlock the following achievement:

This achievement can be considered challenging, as it requires a good amount of practice to pull off. It is recommended you practice every single level until you are confident enough to be able to complete it consistently, or at least die the least amount of times in the most challenging ones.

You can complete the levels in any order. So it's recommended you start from the ones you struggle the most so that you can restart without losing too much time. Generally, the higher the level the harder it is, so it's recommended starting from the top.
It is not clear when the timer starts exactly, but it is believed it starts once you enter the first portal. Loadings do count towards the total time, as well as the time in between levels.
If your PC has an SSD at its disposal I'd recommend downloading the game on there in order to minimize the loading times.
When doing actual attempts, if you happen to make some mistakes and you want to restart the timer, you'll be better off quitting the game completely.
Technically it would be enough to go back to the main menu in order to reset the timer, but I couldn't find a definitive answer on it, so it's better to make sure by restarting the game.

Like before, I will provide videos that will showcase the best routes and skips for both controller and keyboard. I suggest you play along these videos during practice in order to learn all the skips and test what you are able to replicate.

In order to customise a character go to the pause menu and select "appearence". Change any of the options and when you close the pause menu the achievement will pop.

In order to obtain this achievement you will need to setup the co-op mode. You can do it locally if you have a controller. Simply go to the pause menu and select the option to add a new player. Then complete a level. I recommend doing it on the first bonus level as it's probably the fastest to complete in co-op. Or if you want to use just one input device while still being in co-op you can do it in the 3rd bonus level, as you will not have to separate the Yarnies.

If you don't have a controller then you can play with another person by using the Remote Play Together feature. The other player doesn't need to own the game for that.
