The original XVIScript may not work with some saves. A new script has been made which has been confirmed to work on two save files that the first version did not. It's now included in the download. Thanks to ManusCeles for his save.

Pre-Order Suit Unlocker

With Returnal's release on PC, the pre-order promotional skins were made available to players who link a PlayStation Network account to their Steam accounts. For those of us who don't have a PSN account; bought the game through Epic; don't want to link their accounts; or who only play offline, these suits are typically inaccessible. We're here to fix that.

Included are two scripts: A Batch file, and an XVIscript.
The Batch file will backup your current save to a dated folder, then run XVI32 to modify the save using the XVIscript.
XVI32's authors allow distribution of the unmodified program archive from their website. It's included, and you'll need to extract it into the folder from which you'll be running the Batch file.

The XVIscript relies on an in-game setting being present in the save file; you MUST set "Game Data" to "Limited Data" from the pause menu, or the script will not run.

If you go online, the unlock will be reset, and you'll no longer be able to access the Helios' locker to change suits until you run the Batch again. If you have a suit equipped when this happens, you'll keep it on until your next death. I don't know how this is effected by co-op or The Tower.

For this reason, I strongly recommend setting Start Online to Disabled in the game's settings.

A big "Thank you!" to Darkaxt for letting me root around in his save file, wouldn't have been able to nail this down without it.
