Introduction & Playstyle
Hello my fellow warriors and welcome to my guide on how to play Murdock properly.

You will learn what items you should buy first, which skills should be upgraded first and how you should behave in solo-fights, team-fights and fights overall.

First of all always have in mind this guide reflects my opinion and playstyle. Some of my steps and strategies throughout this guide may be unefficient or not recommended for your specific type of playstyle.

My playstyle depends on the enemys I face in earlygame. Most of the time if you use this guide you are going to try to be as aggressive as possible and to push the lanes hard. Sometimes there are heroes that can be hard to deal with in this case you try to play it slow and stady and crush them afterwards in the lategame/endgame.

With all thats said, let's get straight into the guide!
Early Game
First of all let's clarify what I mean when I'm talking about the "Early Game". In this guide it will mean something around the 10 min. mark on the timer. As always that depends on the match it self, some play very quick other take there time. However, we are going to pretend in this guide all matches are the same and stick to the 10 min. mark.

Right from the start:

Items:

You want to start with the "rechargeable health ampoule" for obvious reasons aswell as the "Dekima Gemstone of Bravery 1" aka. "Red Gem" for the 7 phy. power and the quick teleport aka. "flash".

Skill upgrade:

First skill you want to upgrade is "Target Check" aka. your "Q".

Playstyle:
DISCLAIMER: Do not start fights before the first minions arrive unless you are 100% sure it's an easy one. However, if you and your teammates are confident and group up you could try to get an early kill in jungle but that's absolutley NOT recommended for beginners.

When the first t-ons arrive and your opponent is there, too. Try to poke him as often and much as you can with your "Q" it will do a solid amount of damage and the missiles will follow him even out of range. Keep in mind that everytime you poke, the enemy t-ons will attack you, but that's perfectly fine just back up immediatly after the poke and the enemy t-ons will run after you. In that way you can shift the frontline of your t-ons a little bit back towards your own tower and the enemy hero will follow along everytime you poke. This will cause him to think you are an "easy" target, meanwhile your jungler is able to rotate on the duo-lane and get you your first 2 kills by catching them off-guard.

With the money you made buy that time you start to build your first legendary item and you will stick with that strategie until you finished it.

Meanwhile you are going to upgrade your skills as follows:

"Q" on level: 3 and 5

"Shock Bullet" aka. "right-mouse-button" on level: 2 and 4

"Ultra-Precise Shot" aka. "R" on level: 6

Notice: Use your "R" to finish enemy heroes that try to escape under tower or out of range.

This Item next:

Finish the "Carbon Alloy Crossbow" first, it grants you with a solid amount of phy. power and a decent amount of attack speed, but the most important aspect of this item is its passive effect:

"Every successful Basic Attack on the enemy increases the hero's Physical Power by 10 and decreases the enemy's Attack Speed by 8% for 5 sec. (Stacks up to 3 times)"

That means after 3 basic attacks you have a total of 70 phy. power on this item and decreased enemy attack speed by 24% for 5 seconds.

After finishing that item you are most likely to do the prime spirit (yellow one) and destroy the first tower afterwards (if not already done).
Mid Game
This state of the game lasts until the first Inhibitor is reached or the Prime Guardina (purple one/big one) gets done.

Items to focus on:

"Witch's Vial" gives you the crit. and attack speed you need to dominate the mid-game. It's passive is extremly effective in combination with the crossbow.

"A Critical Hit increases Physical Defense Nullification by 20% and Attack Speed by 15% for 3 sec."

"Fanatic's Dessert" increases your crit. and attack speed further and grants you a shield with it's passive.

"Grants a Shield that absorbs 220-560 Damage for 3 sec if the hero's Health is below 30%. (100 sec)"

Skill upgrades:

"Q" on level: 7, 9

"RMB" on level: 8, 10

"R" on level: 11

Notice: User your "R" to help out in jungle or other lanes across the map to finish or simply damage enemy heroes to give your teammates an advantage in their fights.

At this point in the game you will either (Nr.1) have to try carry fights or (Nr.2) you are rolling over your enemys like a bulldozer anyway. If (Nr.1) is happening you should rotate all over the map and push lanes whenever possible. Keep your enemys under constant pressure don't give them time to group for fights or primes. Make sure you catch those enemys who overstay to much and let your frontlane start the teamfights. Focus the enemy Duo-Lane first in teamfights! Never be afraid or hesitate, because as soon as you start to run away or missing all your shots your items passives are wasted.

If it's (Nr.2), with other words you are a bulldozer, in that case you can simultaniously build the level 2 "Red Gem" and have the same strategie as above.
End Game
Now it's just a question of time until the enemys forfeit or your team runs down the enemys core. To achieve ultimate dominance and win the game with 100% guarantee you have to build these last items.

Last items:

"Treasured Sword of the Kingdom" grants you 70 phy. power and 20% crit. which makes it the absolute key item for duo-lane heroes. It's passive:

"Increases Critical Damage by 25% if Critical Rate is 40% or higher."

"Spirit's Armor" it's the alrounder under armors. Attack speed, phy. power, tenacity, movement speed? Name it, what ever it is this thing gots it. It's passive:

"Grants Acceleration for 1 sec when a Basic Attack deals Damage to an enemy. The hero becomes Immune to the Basic Attack Movement Penalty."

Last skill upgrades:

"RMB" on level: 12

"Commence Bombardment" aka. "E" on level: 13, 14, 15, 17, 18

"R" on level: 16

Playstyle:
Focus on prime spirits (yellow one) and prime guardians (purple one/big one) and finish the game.
Don't worry if you came this far and build up your items you can't be stopped and the game is most likely over.

Notice: upgrade your "E" skill at the very last possible levels because its just completle useless (Netmarble please fix this skill just give him something else like a passive or rework that garbage)

Summary
That's how your build should look like if it's finished in the 3 states of gameplay:

Skill per level:

Early game build:

Mid game build:

If it's working out well, optional level 2 "Red Gem":

End game build:

Notice: Somewhere between early to mid game or mid to late game you won't need your "Red Potions" no more. It depends on the playstyle you have and the enemys behavior and heroes sometimes you'll never need it even early game sometimes you need it until late game.
