Description
!!!Custom Battle Only (Outdated)!!!


This mod adds a total of 16 medieval-european maps to the MK1212ad mod, emphasizing the medieval feeling of your siege battles!

So far there are 5 complete unique maps; Frankfurt, Paris, London, Prague and Wien. Also there are 6 other maps, most of which have a second retextured version for other regions of europe. Western european cities use mostly white, half-timbered houses, central european cities a mix of different colours and northern europe mostly reddish houses to emulate the strong reliance of brickstone in these regions.

In this version of the submod the maps ARE ONLY PLAYABLE IN CUSTOM BATTLES (you can find another version with maps linked to the campaign, which is also more up to date under this link; https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3010246623)

Some gliches may occur, but the maps should be properly playable. Also the MK1212ad team is planning to release some official maps with their mod at some point, which will hopefully solve such problems.

Installation;
-just download this mod and activate it in your mod manager
-it is recommended to place this mod above all MK1212 packs
-also you need to have the MK1212ad-mod installed


Some additional informations;
-new Cities are build with large walls only, because small versions for this cities currently are not done
-in this version of the mod you can play the new maps ONLY in custom battles by searching them in the siege map list -because they are not linked to the campaign some maps appear to be "flooded", other minor glitches (e.g. rivers not matching exactly with the surrounding area) may also occur
-OTHER KNOWN BUGS are that; 1. some wall segments can be glitchy 2. Ai bugs out, if its attacking the city and some siege engines (ladder or tower) arrive much sooner at the wall than the other equipment (dont know what causes this tbh, tell me if you have an idea)

UPDATE 14.08.2023

Discontinued in favor of the Campaign-ready-Version of the mod (see link above). If there is dire need for an update of the CB-only-Version, it can be reactivated.
