VERY IMPORTANT
Since there's an official docs page for Standable[standablevr.com] now, I will be deprecating this guide. Thanks for every rating and fave y'all gave!
I will be still trying to help and troubleshoot your problems so feel free to ask anything about Standable, and I'll try to answer (though let's be honest you'll have better luck going to their Discord server[discord.com] and asking there)
Some info
Since Standable is now in 2.0, we finally have things like mixed tracking and lots of IK/FK improvements. Also this isn't an in-depth guide and trouble-shooting. This is just your first time guide if you want to follow a written one. If you need any help, you can either ask me or others in the comment section below, or join the Standable Discord Server[discord.com]
Downloading
Standable needs just about 40 Megabytes of space on your hard drive/solid state drive to download it. To download it, open your library and click download, then choose which drive you want Standable to be downloaded to (duh).
Using Standable
After Standable and SteamVR is launched, you will see your "body parts" in VR and tracker icons on the SteamVR application. If this is true, you're pretty much good to go.

In the top left you'll see all your estimated trackers.
  • If they're grayed out, it means that they're disabled.
  • If the trackers are light gray, it means they're being estimated.
  • If the trackers are blue, it means that they're actual physical trackers you have on your body.
  • If the tracker is orange, it means that it uses a fallback estimation. This happens when your physical tracker looses connection, gets obstructed, drifts away or dies.
  • If there's a wave (shown below) inside the little circle, it means that Standable will always use estimation on that tracker.

  • If there's a (I'd call it a) recycling symbol (I don't have a better name for it x3) in the little circle, and the tracker is green, it mean that this tracker only tracks rotational data of the physical tracker/phone with OwOTrack
Calibration
(This is for VRChat, as this is the game I'd use FBE for mainly)
To calibrate FBE, open your quick menu and click "Calibrate FBT" button, then just make a T-Pose for about a second, you should hear a "click" sound, then click both triggers, and leave the T-Pose.
Advanced calibration
If your calibration isn't "good enough", that is your chest is not in the right place, your feet/paws are rotated or your thighs are unnaturally wide/clipping into each other, you can change it with the "Alignment".

  • The left option allows you to change the spacing of your feet. To change your feet spacing you can move your controllers closer or farther away from you.
  • The middle option allows you to change the rotation of your feet/paws. To change the rotation of your feet, you can rotate your wrists/controllers.
  • The right option allows you to move your chest back on forth. To do so, you can move your controllers back or forth to move your trackers back or forwards

If you have your own avatar you usually use, you can click the version number on the bottom right corner of Standable application to go to your advanced settings. In there if you scroll down a little you can change the default value for your "Stance", "Rotation" and "Depth", that way you don't have to redo your alignment every time you redo your calibration.

Pose adjustments
In the Pose Adjustment section you can change how you want to sit on ground, seat in chair or lay down.

  • Sit/Seat/Lay depth allows you to control how far away or close your legs are to you. The further to the right you set the slider, the further your legs will be away from you
  • Sit/Seat/Lay spread allows you to control how crossed your legs are. The further to the tight, the more spread out your legs will be.

For example if you wanna sit down with crossed legs, you'd set your sit depth and spread to a smaller value, like the one on the screenshot.

Mixed Tracking
I can't yet say anything about the Mixed Tracking since I don't yet have any FBT
As soon as I get my SlimeVR Trackers and experiment a little, I'll update the guide
For those who rather a video
If you rather see and follow a video, you can either click the Quick Start Guide button (should be flashing yellow if it's your first time using the app) to watch it on Youtube, or click the video below (both are the same so, choose which you rather)

in what game?
if VRChat make sure you have "Allow FBT" on
it's under the quick menu settings, under Tracking and IK

you would have to have actual full body trackers

But if I want to move my legs and stuff would I have to use a base station?

nope, it's all just software @Nadine_xoxo1

Hmmnnn been looking over the video and tried to fiddle around, but for some reason the Elbows are getting rotated inwards. (When calibrating, they seem to look like above the avatars size too)

yeah, but the 2.0 will eliminate it, or at least severely reduce the problem
also as I said mixed fbt/fbe will be in 2.0 :p
