This tutorial will help you understand how to launch the game and transfer save from IOS and Android. Also some ways to fix the black screen startup bug

Step 1: Add game to ur library and Install da game

Step 3.A: If black screen, close the game and start again

Courtesy of MadMike0082 for commenting another fix: Change the properties of SAOIF.exe to run in Compatibility mode for Windows 8. If that doesn't work try Win 7 or go for Vista, SP 1 or SP 2

Step 3.B: After startup, the game will ask you to download extra files, Click "OK" and the download will start (Why can't we just download everything from Steam bruh)

Step 4 (Optional)

Step 4 (Optional): After loading in to the main screen, if you are from another platform like IOS or Android, click the "Menu" button on the top left corner of the screen and click transfer.

From there you click transfer
and then transfer again

then login through the methods available to you and you will be able to transfer your mobile save to your PC (WARNING: THIS WILL REMOVE ALL ARCANA ON UR SAVE SO USE IT BEFORE YOU TRANSFER YOUR SAVE!!!!!!!! Launching the game again on mobile will give you an error saying to re-install the game and start from beginning but you could just transfer back your stuff by registering for a transfer ID and use that. )

Step 5 (Skip this step if you did 4): Click on screen to start the game and it will load up a intro sequence like in the Anime (LINKU STARTOOOOOOO WAHOOOOOOOOOO) After that u make avatar and voila ur done.

I got question - I play PC version and after login to server I do not have MENU button in left upper corner. How to quit game?

This happened to me at first but I just opened it from the game files, that worked; the program name in the files is SAOIF

None of the compatibility modes worked for me, but one of the other compatibility options did: "Disable fullscreen optimizations".

Nothing worked for me... Then I got it. Run in Vista SP 2 compat mode. Works great but still a horrific mobile port. Such is life Ill take what I can get when its SOA.

just turn off steam overlay and that made mine work
