First if you are a beginner I recommend using a template like the neptunian forces series or even my own REBELLION series before I privated it. Once you have a template or human to modify please continue too step two!

PLEASE DO THIS!!!
After you have chose a template add on stuff and edit it too your liking with resizable housing (MAKE SURE IT HAS NO COLLISION!!!!). I recommend picking a color scheme while doing this so you have easy access. Too make wires invisible get this mod https://steamproxy-script.pipiskins.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2137429065 . When you are completed with this move on too step 3!

Self explanatory but yeah just color it too your liking. When you are done move on too step 4 if you want too add additional stuff

This Can be quite simple! Add stuff like bullet proof playing hidden under the resizable housing also make sure anything you add has no collisions with the human. Also you can add thrusters and stuff built in too the backpack but make sure too save the unit before you try that. Also this is the section where you add lights.

You likely didnt know this but you can change the logo easily! Find the image you want too replace the thumbnail with, copy it then go into the files of the unit you want too change the thumbnail of, Delete the png already there then replace it and rename the file too the same name as the one you removed.
