Tips (Before You Get Started):
-This is a hardcore game. Keyword: HARD. Be prepared to lose repeatedly.

-If you get an unfavorable set of missions to start out with (no Detention Facilities, they are all spread appart, etc.) just restart the game. A good layout and mission types is paramount to have an easier time getting further.

Tips (After You Get Started):
-Go play in the safest way possible, prioritizing survival and small gains over big heists. When you are about to lose, make sure to 'Retire Agency' to get the profile XP that potentially unlocks more options(New Agents, Incognita Perks) for your next playthrough.

-Load up on cash from easy missions then hit up a Fabrication mission where there is a store that can buy your agents a ranged disable or a 'Detention Facility' for a chance at another agent to bring along on missions, invaluable to take on more than two guards at a time, a MUST to get beyond the easy missions.

-Move 1 tile at a time, all the time. You are spending the same amount of AP to be more careful and aware of your surroundings as well as be able quickly backtrack if you see a threat.

-Avoid combat if you can, it's better to spend 2 turns walking around someone than it is to have to deal with an alerted guard after 3 turns of knock out. Save your knockouts to cover the other agent incase mistakes occur. If need be, YOU CAN SIT ON A GUARD OR DRAG HIM TO PAUSE KNOCK OUT TIMER.

-You can hide to a cover point 1 tile away if you are seen, keep this in mind when you are sneaking about to be one tile away from a table, sofa, or corner so you can slip away.

-Don't forget to: 'Observe Movement' on enemy patrols or people you have alerted. It costs 1 AP but will track them for the rest of the turn.

-Don't forget to: 'Run' when you need to, the noise alert is only about 4-5 tiles away so if you run through the middle of a wider room, you should be good. Pretty much always use it when you are heading towards the elevator.

-Don't forget to: Close the door behind you! Nothing sucks worse than having a good stealthy run be ruined by something that costs 0 AP.

You can also set rewinds count to 99 and basically brute force through difficult situations. Arch Prism + Derek also make things easier.

If you get an unfavorable set of missions to start out with (no Detention Facilities to find more agents), go on an Executive Terminal mission to get the location of one or more Detention Facilities (it lets you choose when you access the terminal).

You should also really take into account the hacking. You can get away with having subpar agents if you have enough resources to hack everything. There are some items that allow your agents to do these kinds of things.

Thanks for the advice.
How do you run ? I am new, and I have never playd a game like this.I was hoping that this was like commandoes, but this is a bit more hard.. :-) Or maybe I am just mission something... LOL
Anyway, I will try and follw your advice, and try to get though day 2, wich where I am now ( on easy level. ) :-)
I am hoping that on day, a co-up is possible here.

Also stand to the SIDE of doors when peeking. Then if you can see enemy vision cones you can open the door and peek again to see if it's a camera or a guard, all without being spotted or spending an extra AP to move away.

Here's my tip, Don't do rescue missions without a spare weapon. The agent will just become dead weight.

I think you left out one vitally useful tip: peeking through and peering around doors. Each one costs one action point, but it's often worth it. I forgot about the peeking around button on my first few runs, but when I remembered about it, I became a much better player.

Couple my own tips: Don't be greedy! I have "almost" failed 2 levels, because 'I wanted to loot everything in the level'. And also, Check the augmentation details! Having something that "couldn't benefit one agent, will surely benefit other agents"

I actually didn't check the tips and played it almost blindly. On the first try I managed to go all the way to the last level and then failed because I didn't know where the "monst3r pc" was :I

@Magnivore, Closing the door is just good habit since enemies in search of you can see through the open doors and potentially cause some pain later in the level. I also close them in hopes that alerted enemies will search other rooms with open doors before the closed one my agents are behind.
