How to get the missing "Map Veteran" achievements

The "Map Veteran" achievements for Dust & Aztec couldn't be earned anymore when Valve removed the two maps from the game.

But you can still earn them in-game!

To get the achievements you need to get the maps first.

Go to the Workshop and download some old versions of the maps.

For example:

Then follow these simple steps:
  1. Download the old maps from the workshop. (You've just done this.)
  2. Locate the two bsp files in your workshop folder - e.g.
    C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps\workshop\123456789
  3. Copy the two bsp files in the maps folder of the game - e.g.
    C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\maps
  4. Start the game in your favorite game mode.
  5. Bring up the console and type
    map de_aztec
    or
    map de_dust
    to load the maps.
